Hi I am new to this site, many thanks for accepting me. I had a mastectomy 23 years ago, at the age of 39, I had 15 lymph nodes removed and several were positive. I had chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Question
Did any of you have any sleep problems before being diagnosed with AFib? I have had insomnia for years and was told on Dec. 28,2017 that I have AFib. So was curious if it is related. I am planning on asking my Cardiologist when I see him this Wednesday.

Just starting ibrance
I was originally diagnosed in 2002 and had a bilateral mastectomy and then in 2006 it moved to my bone and had 28 rounds of radiation. 11 years with no evidence of cancer then in August it reared its ugly head. I am not on ibrance and Letrozole. I honestly do not feel any different so it seems that

Chemotherapy medicine with lesser side effects
Hi, This is my first time here. My mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer. This is the 3rd recurrence. Last time was almost 11 years back. She had undergone 6 chemo sessions for both times. She had suffered a lot during those times, the side effects were really bad. She had mastectomy done last

Hi new to forum
I am getting very strange comments from my GP receptionist lately. I have been told that my TSH is abnormal 55.8 (0.2 - 4.2) FT4 normal FT3 normal Ferritin normal Vit D normal Folate normal B12 normal Complete blood count normal And that I don't need medication? I really don't know what next to do.

Results...At last !
Well got my results today.(Following my post below ) They found the cancer in my left breast. It is lobular invasive Her2 + and hormone receptor -. So could be better. It hasn't spread though there were different opinions at the multidisciplinary meeting as there was just a speck near my sacrum. So

Rasagiline
My hubby is in early stage PD and been taking rasagiline since dx’d 6 was ago. His main symptom is a right hand tremor. It seems to be getting worse. He’s also on the Dr Phillipsons supplement protocol along with dietary changes. Not sure what to do next. Would appreciate suggestions.

Made it!
Just wanted to thank everyone for all the good vibes you took the time to send my way... Mastectomy was yesterday and here I am on the other side! The anaesthetist was amazingly reassuring and I didn't lose my mind. Few deep breaths and then she sedated me so heavily before she put me to sleep so I never

My AF history
I think it’s the time for me to tell my story, so I don’t to look like an intruder in this forum. I had my very first episode of AF during a hard fought tennis match (since I was an assiduous tennis player for many years). At that time, I had just turned forty years old and was in top physical form.

Issues getting Zentiva made Hydroxychloroquine and alternative manufacturers
Hi all, this is a repeat of a reply I put to a recent post on availability of Zentiva locally to me in Sussex to see if its everywhere or just my local supply chain. All I want to do is just be given the medication that makes me able to function sort of normally... and not have to see if I can get on
