Chemotherapy medicine with lesser side effects

Hi, This is my first time here. My mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer. This is the 3rd recurrence. Last time was almost 11 years back. She had undergone 6 chemo sessions for both times. She had suffered a lot during those times, the side effects were really bad. She had mastectomy done last week. So she will know of the treatment only next week after her stitches are removed. I would like to know if there is any chemotherapy medication available now that has lesser side effects, so that we can ask the doc for the same.

Anishya now there are medicines which can very well control the side effects of chemo. Your onco will take care of. Any problems during chemo the onco should be informed

Let the doctor select medicines. Medicines will be selected according to stage. If there is any choice, your doctor will tell you.
