Hi Jennifer and welcome to the forum . Poor you , you have been through the mill and now having fibro . My advice is don’t panic it’s not a nice thing to have but you can and will cope , it’s just a matter of stages and of not getting bogged down and scared about it .

I was very young about 10 -11 years old living in a very bad situation mum had died and I had a bad stepmother and they think because of family life being very hard and stressful that’s why I got it . I have had three children done lots of other things , so I just want to encourage you that there is life after being diagnosed with fibro , not saying it’s easy but if you can excersise walking will help .

If you can get a hobby. distraction is a wonderful help . Fibromyalgia is not for sissies but it’s not the end of everything . I know you have been through a lot already but you can do this . Here if you need anything . Keep smiling xx😇🤗🤗

Hi Stephen58, I hope you are having a better day today. Fibro does wipe you out if you overdo things. You have to be quite strict with yourself and take plenty of rests. I know it's frustrating and you want to get things done, especially this time of year. Listen to your body, take care Xx
