Results confirmed thyroid cancer
Well, following my hemithyroidectomy on 2nd Jan, it was confirmed for me this evening that my lump was in fact Papillary Thyroid Cancer. I feel as though I knew this news was coming, but don't know a lot about it. So if anyone can offer anything positive I'd be really grateful. Any handy hints welcome

Fungal nail treatment
I have what I think is a fungal nail infection in one of my fingernails. I am reluctant to take yet more oral medication due to the state of my liver. Anyone found anything else that gets rid of it?

21weeks pregnant is it safe to be around children who have chicken pox?
I've been really looking forward to seeing my 5year old niece for christmas but now she has the chikenpox.. Her spots have come up now so usually that's not contagious but will it be of any harm to my baby.. I had chicken pox when I was 2years old ? Any idea!?

Skin Cancer and CLL a Mayo community study...
'Patients with CLL are at higher risk of developing melanoma and other skin malignancies. The survival of patients with melanoma is worse, stage for stage, in patients with CLL than patients without. It is thought that early diagnosis of skin cancer is critical to improving survival in CLL patients.'

Athletes foot??
Ive been getting what I think is athletes foot on and off for a couple of months now. I'm not sure it is athletes foot as I have it in the past and it was always insanely itchy but this isn't. This time it is the skin between my toes splitting open and bleeding. It is really sore and painful. I always

The Great American Bucket List Tour Continues
Lori and I have been in Las Cruces since October 1 and last Wednesday we decided it's time to see new things. We will be moving west down Interstate 10 to the little city of Deming, New Mexico. The county seat of Luna County, Deming has four state parks within a half hour or so radius. Migratory birds

Balance Problems...
I was diagnosed with PD in 1998, probably had it a couple of years before that. I also have hypertension, coronary artery disease and had a heart attack and a 4-vessel coronary-artery-bypass-graft this past June. So when I say I have "balance problems," there are many possible causes. I already know

Does anyone get very out of breath, post viral meningitis.
I had viral meningitis in June, now sleep most days as im always so tired and very out of breath just by walking short distances. Was curious if this has anything to do with meningitis or if it could be something else. I have told my doctor but she does not seem to want to do anything about it. My

I am Living (it up) with Parkinson's and Other Things
Diagnosed with PD in 1998, probably inflicted with it for a couple years before that, I decided to make the most of the poker hand I had been dealt. Put on Mirapex early on, I soon became a compulsive gambler and after that became, divorced, fired, lost all my property but literally the clothes I was

C25k Wk4 R3 - Week 4 Finally Over!
Well that took some time to get all those 3 runs done but in fact this was the easiest of the 3 as hoped, so the breaks didn't seem to hold me back. Ran on the field today and the grass was short and dry and easier on the legs than the pavement. Looking forward to week 5!
