Was there ever really a chance for a cure?
When I began the Stampede protocol 1 1/2 yrs ago, it was my understanding that two years of Zytiga/Prednisone and three years of Lupon with radiation to the pelvic area at the 7 mo - 1 yr mark gave a chance for a "cure" under my conditions (3+4 gleason, etc). Now, my non-medical view of things is convincing

Brain Fog or Dimentia?
Hey warriors! So how do you know if you have brain fog or the beginning of dementia? Is it possible to blame ADT and Zytiga? My husband has been on Ellegaard for five years and Zytiga for 2 1/2. Years, he seems to have a lot of memory issues lately, and I fear it’s only getting worse Any thoughts or

PSA Bounce After Radiation Therapy
I am trying to understand PSA bounce or change in PSA levels after RT and have found two studies useful. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7465291/ https://www.nature.com/articles/s41391-021-00387-4 Some analysts distinguish between PSA bounce and biological recurrence, and see a possibility

HIPEC
Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in December, I’ve since had 3 cycles of chemo (to which I’ve had a good response) and will be having debulking surgery soon. My surgeon has said I am suitable for HIPEC. The treatment sounds quite intensive and I’m keen to hear from anyone

Am I becoming castrate resistant on orgovix?
I moved again and hopefully this will be the last time. So, I have had to put together a new Medical team and meet my new MO this Tuesday. My bio is pretty up to date. I'm stage 4 and have some lymph node mets and some bone mets. It's been over a year since my last scan which showed improvement from

Declining red blood cells.
This Poollover, and I'm stage 4 prostrate cancer. My anemia is slowly getting worse. I'm on Orgovyx and Zytiga which brought my PSA to 0.78 from 12. Where do I go from here. In June I'll be 87. Terry

Has anyone had this? Desperate for answers
for about 2 months now I can feel my thyroid is swollen - I had blood tests by doctors and confirmed that my hormone levels are normal and thyroid is functioning. I then had an ultra sound which said that my thyroid was ‘diffuesly enlarged’ and that I also had ‘tiny cysts’ I have now been referred

UPDATE
UPDATE Hi folks, I havnt been very active recently - mostly because things were going slowly, but well with my PCA. Ive just had my latest bloodwork which confirms a PCA increase with a doubling time of about 6 months. This is all very standard and to be expected - I am 4.3 years out from PSA of 1000

TP53 Testing
Good afternoon. My oncologist called me last month to tell me that my FISH test indicated that I had Trisomy 12. He went on to say “You should feel lucky that you don’t have TP53.” I watched this excellent video yesterday. The doctors discussed the importance of having the separate TP53 test with FISH
