90% of skin cancer is preventable!
1 in 4 men and 1 in 5 women will be diagnosed with
skin
cancer
in the UK. With up to 90% of cases being preventable it seems ludicrous that the estimated annual burden on the NHS is £500 million!!!!! It’s not rocket science!

He told me with all my symptoms that I might have
skin
cancer
on my eyelid and now I have to have a biopsy to determine if that’s true. I never in a million years would think that was the cause of my issues.

Masced Pro Training
‼ Over 25% of GP consultations are dermatology related, yet GPs only receive around 2 weeks training on dermatology AS A WHOLE - so unless a GP has what is referred to as 'a specialist interest in
skin
cancer
', they have little-to-no training on the subject!

skin cancer risk
I have just started taking hydro; I’ve read that this drug increases the risk of
skin
cancer
. Is this through the drug or because of reduced immunity?

Lorazepam experiences for one-off use
I am having a MOHs procedure for
skin
cancer
(bcc) on my nose in two weeks and quite frankly I am terrified. the procedure involves taking layers and examining them until no cancer cells remain. Long waits in between and may take all day. Skin graft afterwards on same day usually.

Skin Cancer Issues
Hello, I am 7.5 years post transplant and everything is going well except for recurring skin cancers. I have had two Mohs surgeries on my face and other stuff frozen off. I met with the transplant team last week to discuss options and none of them are perfect solutions. I'm hesitant to switch meds because

Lauren detects skin cancer on her mother through undertaking the Masced course
“I have been in the beauty industry since 2017 and first completed Skcin’s MASCED Accreditation in Sept 2019 after delving into specialising in skin treatments. On 9th June this year I noticed a change in my mums mole on the back of her arm, everything about this particular mole looked alarming.
