Hello everyone hope you’re safe and well? My sister and I seem to follow the same patterns heathwise, so we compare notes unfortunately she’s in Devon and I’m in the North East. We are both hypothyroid and she takes 175 thyroxine per day and I 150. It seems to be more or less right. BUT we both have

MSA and Stopping Breathing
I have sleep apnea and I stop breathing during the daytime as well. Interesting experience during my hour long dental procedure: the oral surgeon woke me four times saying “breathe Kevin, breathe Kevin”.

MELATONIN FOR COVID-19 / Part 1

AFIB free from CPAP and ASD
Since we're talking recovery, I'd like to offer my experience. I presented with bradycardia and Afib in June 2016. I got an emergency pacemaker for the bradycardia. I then tried various meds for afib, none of which worked. I went to Dr. Huang at U of Rochester. After an ultrasound, he said to go

YES to CAFFEINE for RLS
Reading all these posts is driving me crazy. Mirapex, lyrica, Ropinirole, Gabapentin... so many drugs. I've tried them all over the years. Some worked. Some didn't, like Gabapentin, not real great for RLS. But after many many years of severe RLS, what did I find that works? CAFFEINE! Try 1/4 to 1/2

No longer on Mirapex and I'm drug free!
So, I was diagnosed with RLS during a sleep study over 10 years ago and I was put on.50 mg of Mirapex. It worked wonderful for a long time. I began to notice that my RLS was getting worse. In fact, I discovered that the Mirapex was the culprit! I went off it cold turkey with no ill effects! I don't suffer

I am a 46 yr old severe asthmatic on a seemingly endless about of meds but hey ho it is what it is. One med that i have been on for over a year now which has been wonderful for me has been Alvesco (ciclesonide). Being a smaller inhaled corticosteroid it manages to travel deeper into your lungs. New symptom tracking app aims to slow spread of coronavirus.
Around 5,000 twins and their families across the UK have been recruited from the TwinsUK cohort study to trial the app, which tracks in real time how the disease progresses. The aim of the app is to help slow the outbreak, by helping researchers identify: How fast the virus is spreading in your area
