Possible endo/rejected referrals
Hi everyone. I'm new here but wondered whether anyone has had a similar experience to me. A few years ago I was on the contraceptive pill, when I noticed that my periods were getting later and later. I used to get the normal bleed during the seven day break of not taking the pill, but then I started

My husband isn’t too bad at the moment but he can’t be left on his own, he is suffering with
pain
in his
shoulder

I didn't have a blood test or anything for my diagnosis, I had been experiencing
shoulder
pain
for 3 years previously. I have bulging discs in my cervical and lumbar spine due to trauma which could explain the neck and hip pain. Is there a test that can be done to either confirm or rule out PMR?

Back pain
I have always suffered from back pain ever since a couple of slipped discs in the late 70s early 80s but recently it seems to have got worse after I fell and broke my hip at the end of March. I am suffering very badly from prickling and burning in my feet. It now seems to be there all day and I don’

Dear friends, I am finishing 2 years of Forsteo at the end of July. In preparation for the possibility of having ZA Infusion as follow on treatment, I have been attending dental appointments . Having been passed to the practise surgeon to have an extraction, we were both shocked to discover I may

No diagnosis but lots of symptoms
I suffer pain in my feet and have bunions and plantar fasciitis and suffer from tennis elbow and sometimes
shoulder
pain
. X-rays show that I have scoliosis. My GP X-rayed my hands and said there were no "mothy holes" and so my symptoms were down to wear and tear.

Discitis nearly killed me. I suspect streptococcus B was injected into me by Hormone injection for PCa
I have PCa. I am also immune suppressed due to kidney transplant. In February I started hormone injections due to BCR. A couple of weeks later I started to get back pain. Doctor prescribed pain killers. After about 6 weeks, many blood tests, consultations and an MRI scan I was diagnosed with discitis

Update after cardiac catheterization.
If you have a severe chest,
shoulder
, arm, neck
pain
of sudden onset please don't ignore it..even if it passes quickly. It feels nothing like pmr...it is sudden and grabs you in a moment and is very very painful. Mine was one sided.

advise please re split dose
I only realised because I started getting stiff and had
pain
in my right
shoulder
. Once I took my 2nd dose, within the hour, all aches etc were gone! my question is was this steroid withdrawal or my adrenals (I wasn’t fatigued) or PMR? I’ve read the article on adrenals but still unsure.

Hi there I am 31 and was diagnosed with severe stage 4 endometriosis at 17. I've been on zoladex for nearly the whole time since diagnosis add back HRT and regular bone scans. Despite zoladex I've had a lot of pain, and have had surgery 5 times and each time endo has been extensive, so although zoladex

Over the counter painkillers
Hi, I’m waiting on scan & further steps to manage my endo & adenomyosis. The pain is getting harder to manage & I’d be grateful for suggestions of pain relief that might work better than current ibuprofen, panadol & hot water bottles:) Have just been reading it’s better to start ibuprofen before day

Proximal Myopathy
Is anyone else suffering with proximal myopathy affecting back, neck
shoulder
muscles and joints? I'm fed up of the
pain
despite physio exercises and swimming at a gentle pace. Will it ever go away? Diagnosed with Autoimmune Thyrotoxicosis in September and now in erythroid range.
