BCG Finished - CT SCAN - UPDATE.
First the good news - My CT scan result I was told in clinic today shows the 6mm growth has not moved - Further scan in 6 months. So one thing for now off my mind.. So I had my last BCG of the course today, glad in a way but hope I may get back on it despite the warts with it. So in six weeks

pmr and now shingles
hi- I’m on day 6 of aciclovir for shingles. I cannot believe how bad I feel. The electric shock like pains up the side of my head 😱. And the general aches. Any advice? I’m down to 4 mg pred and was doing ok after the initial fatigue when I dropped down . Should I stay in bed? I really can’t believe

Is it safe to have another Covid vaccination?
A month after having my 4th Covid vaccination & a flu jab in September ‘22 I was diagnosed with PMR - coincidence probably? Anyway, I’ve received my invite for a 5th Covid jab ‘as my immune system is compromised’. As this would be my first vaccination since being diagnosed I would be interested to

Shingles Vaccination - any pointers please?
You should not have the
shingles
vaccine
if you've had a serious allergic reaction (including an anaphylactic reaction) in the past to a previous dose of the
shingles
vaccine
, or to any of the ingredients in the vaccine, or to a previous dose of varicella (chickenpox) vaccine.

Covid free
When I arrived in the UK one week ago my daughter had been testing positive for Covid for 5 days. She had no symptoms and was very frustrated. Testing regularly she finally tested negative today. 🥳 I have tested negative the entire time. Last year my partner had his knee replaced and got Covid. I was

My results and treatment plan after my Cystoscopy OP.
I got a telephone call early morning last week after my Cystoscopy and biopsies. Although earlier this year they said I could not have BCG again - Oncology nurse told me I was having a shorter course of BCG ever week for three weeks, Should really have been spaced, but mo matter. After a month or

Booster jab?
Hi I am concerned that my PMR began after my last booster/flu jab. My Doc also says she has heard of other cases relating to this. So as I qualify for the next round of jabs I am seriously considering not having it. I would appreciate any comments.

Shingrix Vaccine
Since the new
shingles
vaccine
, Shingrix, is not a live virus, have you gotten the vaccine? If so, did you have any side effects from it? My transplant center and Oncologist highly recommend getting it, but I haven't done so yet. Thanks for your input.

Looking for a Surgeon with Specific Skills
This is a long shot. I’m an Aussie. I had HD brachytherapy for prostate cancer in 2010. In 2016, I was diagnosed with Carcinoma in Situ in the bladder. I’ve had multiple rounds of BCG, and I’m now heading towards a radical cystectomy. My urologist is nervous about the risk of damage to the rectum

Hello everyone.Diagnosed with bronchiectasis. Is it really good to have my pneumoccocal and flu vaccines? How really important it is with bronchiectasis? And how sure it is effective? Thank you. May I have an advice to those who have taken the vaccines already?
