Chest Tightness
It's not
severe
or anything, like mild
asthma
(which I used to have). The sensation seems to be in the chest but also feels like it's in the throat, adams apple down to the chest. Comes and goes. Being active doesn't cause it, but when it happens I worry and make it worse.

Ostomy Bag Gone Amuck
My Hollister ostomy bag pancakes on stoma and prevents bag from operating properly. Hence it blows up and comes apart in the most inopportune times. My hernia prevents me from putting the bag on properly. I need help from someone else. Does anyone have these problems?

Surgery
I have just woken up properly from surgery, I’ve been out since 4pm (I think) on and off. I’m not currently on any painkillers (that I know of) and I feel fine. My surgery was a bit more complex, because of being diabetic they had be come in the day before. Not going to lie, fasting was AWFUL. I am

Hello everyone. I’ve just come back from seeing my oncologist and am feeling flat and anxious. COPD or Asthma?
I know this question has been covered with respect to individual cases, however, I would like to know, in more general terms, how COPD is distinguished from asthma through symptoms alone. I am still waiting for tests that may lead to a formal diagnosis, and I have been experiencing an increase in breathlessness

Angina or asthma
I have recently been diagnosed with coronary heart disease and also have
severe
asthma
. I regularly get chest pains but I don't know if it's an asthma attack or angina. How can I tell which medication to take?

Resources in Ireland and advice
It developed after the birth of my second child when I was 37 but I think I had hypo and hyperthyroid symptoms for years before that tied in with allergies,
severe
asthma
and other issues. Before my.menopause, at age 57, my goitre would become slightly enlarged and feel hot before my period.

Asthma and Universal Credit
To be honest I don't want to approach the DWP unless I really have to as I had a horrendous time before I had the work capability assessment, they were trying to send me for jobs in warehouses where I'd be on my feet for 12 hours a day - not something someone with

can do!

Hi All, First port here! I have had a bad year with my asthma, I have never really had problems before. I got a chest infection at the beginning of the year, that keeps coming back and it has completely changed my life in terms of my asthma. All my medication has changed and I have been told that

Is it really asthma...?
Hi guys, on here just to try and get a bit of advice. I've coped well with Sjoergren's Syndrome since around 2002. Around 8 years ago I started to have pretty bad problems with my lungs, which the Rheumatology clinic casually diagnosed (without any tests, or even eye contact) as Adult Onset Bronchial
