Frustrated ,confused and terrified!
I have been struggling with multiple infections and yet tests are not reflecting how bad I feel. The UTI , urine test came back as multiple enteric flora ? Considered contaminated yet no follow up. Does an E. coli bacteria just go away? Access certainly has not but lung infection does seem better. My

Stomach issues
Hi all. Can someone explain what issues they experience coz of anxiety. When I stand up at work it feels like my stomach is still in my chair, if that makes sense. Hard to explain it really other than that. I had a urine test recently and the doctor had a good old prod at my stomach and all was fine.

Vagina lips hurting
My vagina lips started hurting 2 days after unprotected sex. A burning sensation. I have no discharge, no bumps, swelling or redness. I look completely normal. After a few days of discomfort, I go to the clinic. They diagnose me with a UTI, per my urine test. After a few days of being on an antibiotic

Help I can't function properly
I had been suffering with none stop abdominal pain for 4-6 weeks now. I seen countless A&E. They did a ultrasound scan, blood test, urine sample and a swab. Everything came out OK. I had just gotten a urine infection 2 days ago. Went to the doctor again she said the pain is related to the infection.

Any COPD clinical trials near Stockport?
I have Bronchiectasis, which comes under the umbrella of COPD. I have an electric nebulizer on prescription, which uses a saline solution, but lately it is becoming less effective. I've also tried a "Flutter"with mixed results. I had to buy that myself for £50!!! I am willing to go on any clinical trials

A Royal Pain
Mounds of prescription and over-the-counter medications are sold and swallowed to relieve chronic pain, but it seems that placebos – pills or procedures that supposedly have no physiological effect – may sometimes be even more effective than “real” drugs. The placebo effect is probably involved in

Help needed with test results
I'm really hoping that there is someone on here who can help me understand my grandson's test results. He is in his late 20's and has a lifelong phobia of needles and Doctors. He has been feeling ill for some time but is now very depressed and finding it almost impossible to go to work. I and my daughter

Becoming really depressed with Endo - what do I do next? (I'll try not to make this too long!)
Hello everyone, my name is Laura & im 21. I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis last September (2016), when I had my first laparoscopy. The treatment I received after my lap was pathetic if I am honest. I was given barely information about my own body, apart from that they removed it from my right

Seriphos!
I started taking phosphatidyl
serine
2 weeks ago, but after researching a little more last week, I decided to buy Seriphos, as it is apparently more effective than PS. All the advice on when to take and how much to take has me a little confused though!

Hello all, I'm 33 yrs old female. I've suffered urinary retention for a number of years, especially after sustaining an injury after child birth. (Another story) I've finally been having it looked into, had bladder and kidney scan recently. At a follow up with gp she asked to take urine sample to send

Normal-high b12 serum, vegetarian, needing to self inject repeatedly - can functional deficiency cause a high serum level?
Hi all, I wondered if you guys can shed any light on my B12 mystery and blood test results when my serum level is the high side of normal? I don't get how this is possible as I've been vegetarian (I eat eggs and dairy) for 22 years but I'm wondering if my deficiency is functional, and if that can cause

How can my T3 be upper part of range but my bood test showed FT3 low? This is confusing. Has anyone else had this? Do I go with blood test results?
