Where to get contents of Thyroid meds tested and verified
I bought some some NDT and I want to get the contents/ingredients checked to see how much T3 and T4 is in each, does anyone know of a lab in UK or Europe or in fact anywhere that does it

Weight training & T3 tolerance
Hi all, I am now tolerating NDT much better by using adrenal cortex when I get overt symptoms of intolerance (extreme anxiety, skin crawling, severe agitation). For me, the worst time is 3 hours after my NDT dose (which I believe is the T3 rising in the blood). In the last few days I have noticed

TWW madness
Hi ladies, I hope you’re all doing ok x x just a quick question for you guys as something just popped into my head & I can’t seem to find the answer online. I’m currently 7 days into my TWW (3rd transfer & 2nd fresh cycle). On my first fresh cycle which resulted in a BFN, I started bleeding 2 days

Random Pessary/Progesterone question
This is going to be a random question but does anyone know if it’s harmful for baby…or me… to continue with the cyclogest pessaries after 12 weeks? I suffer from a lot of complex allergies, which are extremely restrictive with food, & since starting this round of treatment, I’d noticed that my allergic

Eating thyroid gland from local farm?
I thought I may try it to see how it goes since NDT doesn't work well for me well unfortunately. What can I lose if I try it for a few weeks right? Is that a thing? I was thinking I would just buy some from local farm that have organic grass feed beef or lamb. I would freeze it and then cut tiny piece

What is latest opinion about different NDT brands?
The only brand that really worked for me was old ERFA years ago, I felt for a few weeks great until I didn't run out and received new ERFA formation back then. Since then I tried different brands and no other brand worked so good despite I got optimal hormone levels. I am not sure if it is possible that

**Sensitive Post** OTD
I had my OTD yesterday and it came back positive! We are obviously over the moon but I also feel a bit numb to be honest. It’s hard to process after trying for so long and thinking we would never get here. I have been racking my brain during the 2WW trying to figure out where to get the money for another

Timing to start combined pill for endo?
I was recently referred to a gynae to investigate endometriosis following an ultrasound and relevant history. The gynae prescribed me the combined pill (microgynon 30) to try in the first instance. I'm taking it back-to-back for 4 months to stop my periods. I've not been on any hormonal treatments

Burnt tongue sensation
Hi guys..I have hashimoto's and I'm on Thyroid S. For quite a while now I've had this burnt tongue sensation and I think it's linked to the NDt but not certain. Some days it's much worse than others . Has anyone else had the same "reaction" ? Perhaps it's not the NDt at all but none of my other

Oestriol and Lupus
I am 71 and have had recurrent UTIs. My GP has prescribed me Oestriol cream and told to use it daily, on my genitals, to help with the post-menopausal atrophy of the general area but particularly around my urethral opening. With oestriol I do not need progesterone. The leaflet in the box

Very light periods
Hi, I have PCOS and endometriosis. I’ve been on the pill for years and stopped a few months ago and now my periods are very light and only 2 days (previously were very heavy for a week). I think I ovulate as I feel the pain ++ and get a positive ovulation test at that time. I’ve read light periods could

When to expect period after FET?
hi everyone, I’m so confused where I am in my cycle. I had a period after starting the Buserelin for my FET then did all the meds etc for a FET. We unfortunately had a failed thaw so cycle was cancelled. Stopped progesterone and had a period a few days later. Do I count this as my period? As the nurse

With my sister in Ireland after labs came back - please help with advice…
Hello everyone, I posted previously - briefly, my sister has had cognitive decline for about two years and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about four years ago. Her Levo has just been increased on 50 to 75 mcg. She is not on T3 or NDT. (I didn’t know about NDT until I came on this portal). She only

looking for advice/support - newly diagnosed and struggling.
I was taken to theatre in April for lap surgery (they only drained my cysts and sorted an intestinal adhesion) and following this was diagnosed with endometriosis. I wasn’t aware of the condition until this happened. Following this I have felt so isolated and have had no support. I saw a gynae 9 weeks

Trialling Levo only after an issue with NDT, severe headache subsided to a point, BUT now feeling brain fog, fatigue and very bloated belly.
On first diagnosis, I was prescribed Levothyroxine and reached 100mg until I became pregnant with twins 13 years ago and had to increase it to 300mg, put on tons of weight, and it wouldn't shift after the birth. Fatigue also plagued me. After no support from the NHS, I decided to try NDT, being Thyroid

cyclogest and crinone
Hi all, I have started the above meds and was just wondering what other people experience of them are after stims? I have only been taking them for 2 days but I feel really paranoid (those damn intrusive thoughts), angry and just irritated! I am on 2x 400 cyclogest and 1gram crinone. Anyone else

5kg weight loss with Hypothyroidism
Hi, I have been trying this diet plan for the past 6 weeks, since 26 Sep 2022 and am happy to report that I have lost 5kgs to date. Basically, I watch my macros on a ratio of 2 servings veggies, 1 serving protein and 0.5 serving of carbs every meal. I eat 3 meals per day every 4 hours. Then I leave

Period-like cramps before FET: Cyclogest side-effect?
Hello ladies, I am due to have my first FET on Monday but as of yesterday, I started experiencing abdominal cramps similar to the ones I get before my period...I am taking Progynova and Cyclogest (twice per day), had down-regulation with Buserelin and my 'normal' period wouldn't be due for another 8

Been discharged
Good morning, all. I'm just back again with another update. As of a telephone consultation I had with my NHS endocrinologist this morning, I have been effectively discharged from NHS care regarding everything thyroid-related. She is a new endocrinologist for me, who has taken over from my previous endocrinologist
