I am due to have my first FET on Monday but as of yesterday, I started experiencing abdominal cramps similar to the ones I get before my period...I am taking Progynova and Cyclogest (twice per day), had down-regulation with Buserelin and my 'normal' period wouldn't be due for another 8-10 days. I am very worried that my period is coming or about to come and we would waste a very good embryo if we go ahead with the transfer tomorrow...Do you have any words of advice? Could these cramps be a side-effect of the cyclogest? Would my clinic be able to tell on Monday if my period is about to come? I am booked in for a progesterone blood test on the day of the FET but not sure if it is before or after and when would the results be ready. What has been your experience on that front?
Speaking of side-effects of the cyclogest, I tried using it rectally for a couple of days and as of this morning, it has given me diarrhoea
Thank you in advance for your help!

I always got cramps from cyclogest! On both my successful and unsuccessful rounds. My advice would be to try and ignore all symptoms - the drugs cause too many making it all so confusing! Keep busy until test day. I’ve just finished Love Life on Netflix - such a good series! Wishing you lots of love and luck! 🍀💕
That is really reassuring, thank you! Yes, I read about the progesterone tests on health unlocked and am booked in for a test tomorrow . Thank you for the Netflix tip and for the support!💗
