new blood test results - should I increase? NDT

hello all,

I am on NDT and got my new blood results. They are as followed:

TSH: 0.13 (0.27-4.20)

Ft3: 3.10 (2.00-4.40)

Ft4: 0.96 (0.93-1.70)

Test was done 9 am. Last dose NDT was 24h before (1.75 grain - taken all in one).

Do you think I should increase my dose of NDT?

Or should I stay on this dose?

I do not have lots of symptoms at the moment. Sometimes feel my heart beat running - but when I measure it‘s always fine.

I had anxiety and felt jittery some weeks ago, when I was undermedicated - but this improved…

Also, I tried to find out why my ft4 is so low, as NDt is mostly T4.

I know this is a common thing to have lower ft4 when any kind of t3 is introduced- but I wondered if I should put in a bit more t4 added to my NDT to balance out my numbers?!

But on last blood test in October my rt3 was high… so I don’t have a clue what to do as there are so many different answers on what to do with a high rt3.

I did not check rt3 this time thow…don’t know how fast a rt3 can change/improve.

I tried to improve my ferritin and d3 during the last weeks and my bloods showed an improvement :) - but still too low.

thank you all for advise ❤️

I’m sorry you don’t have any replies to your post so I’ll give you my opinion 😊 I think you have room to increase your dose, probably to 2 grains - retest in 6/8 weeks. You may find you’ll need to add some Levo to your Erfa as your FT4 is too low in relation to your FT3

FT4 .96 (0.93 - 1.70) is 3.9%

FT3 3.1 (2 - 4.4) is 45.83%

Just remember next time you test to split your dose into 2 or 3 doses, taking your last dose 8 to 12 hours before your blood test. This will give you a better idea of your levels of FT4 and FT3 which will point you in the right direction for necessary increases in your dosage.
