Noresthisterone

Hi I've been on norethisterone since January the 17th. They took it back off me recently and Wednesday last week I went on the progesterone only pill. I was on it three days and had a day of spotting. But yesterday Saturday I started a heavy bleed lots of clots. It's slowing down today. But has anyone else had this happen after coming off of norethisterone. They said to expect spotting on the new pills until they settle down, but this has freaked me out. Is it because I haven't had a period for over four months. Many thanks Christina x
