Hi, I've had 8 shots so far, 6 in the arms and 2 in the stomach. I found the stomach area hurt a little more for the next several days but not as much going on (I think because there is more real estate in my stomach than my arms :). And when I say "hurt", I just mean it was tender and sore. The arms did not bother me much, other than the stinging when it went in. I did read that you should have the shots in different places though because it can damage the tissue and I have noticed a little discoloration on the back of my arms.

I’ve always taken them in my stomach without any problems.

Always done mine in my legs. Here in the UK we do our own injections at home and I can just about manage to do them in my thigh but the idea of jabbing myself in the stomach sounds too painful.

I began getting welts after 2nd shot on back of arms. The welt goes away after a day but it is a shot reaction. On my third shot, I got one in my arm which got a welt again and the second in my stomach. For me, my stomach did not hurt nearly as much as the arm, and it did not welt up so from this point forward, I’m gonna get both shots in my stomach. As I said for me, it’s much less painful in my stomach than in my arm. I’m not overweight, but I have some belly fat there from having my children I don’t do in the thighs I do it where the love handle is from having the kids and that seems to work very well. Good luck.
