Two questions about my asthma
Hi, I have been struggling for 3 months with my asthma ever since I had the flu in February. I've already posted something here a couple of weeks ago but as I still don't feel good and no one around me really understands how bad I feel (not even the doctors) I figured talking to people who had the

Bad spell of asthma
My partner has had asthma all his life but has been well controlled as an adult. Since January he has suddenly had problems. He was taking salbutamol & lowest dose seretide. He has now been increased to Seretide 500 & given atrovent inhaler & a nebuliser. How often should he be using the atrovent nebules

Seretide v Sirdupla
Anyone else having bad reactions to Sirdupla? It's giving me breathing difficulties and a chesty cough. Checked the ingredients and discovered that the manufacturer has added Ethanol to the Sirdupla. As home made wine gave me my first serious asthma attacks, I am making that link. Was fine with Seretide

Equivalent or stronger inhaler Fostair nexthaler 200/6 2 puff's twice a day
I been recommended by A &E doctor last night that I need to discuss changing my inhaler/antihistamine. I have been using Fostair nexthaler since November 2017 which was changed from seretide 250. From what I understand I am on maximum dose for this inhaler. Plus antihistamine fexofenadine top dose.

Change inhaler
The practice nurse has asked if I would like to change to a different inhaler thats only needed once a day . I have agreed to try Ellipta from next prescription repeat, but have read on line that this drug is not ideal in COPD patients if they need a higher dose, has numerous side effects not good for

Haemophilus influenzae immunity-or lack of!
Hi all, First the rant. If I hadn’t burst into tears of frustration and exhaustion when I saw the consultant 3 weeks ago I would have been fobbed-off with just a higher dose of Seretide to deal with repeated lung infections. Instead she sent me for blood and sputum tests. This week I was so tired

Hi does any have any comments about asthma inhalers and anxiety. I was never really an anxious person the kind of person that thought "$%#@ it I'll try it" without hesitation. Since starting symbicort I seem to be getting more anxious and have anxiety about really daft stuff. I was on seretide 250 for

Muscle spasm & cramps
So, after changing from Fostair 200/6 to Seretide 250 Evohaler because of muscle cramps & spasm I am again suffering from the same, my GP blamed the LABA in the Fostair & put me on Seretide because it has a different LABA but after only 3 weeks I am suffering the same, could it be the Steroid that is

Used to be on Seratide 250 for a few years, now on Relvar Ellipta 182/92 has anyone else been changed over like me? I’ve got Asthma /Mild COPD. I don’t know if the steroid part is the same or not does anyone know? Also I’m thinking the Relvar being a powder may not be fully getting into my lungs as opposed

Seretide Sereflo differences?????
Hi All, I'm 65 and was on Seretide for a long time, this was changed to Sereflo a few months ago. I seem to have a constant tickle/irritation since being on the Sereflo. I have always been able to get a good peak flow score and still do which does not help me being taken seriously, my asthma nurse tells
