New here, no idea what is happening to me, nobody is helping
Three weeks ago I had a
seizure
whilst I was asleep, now waiting for an appointment with neurology. Might be 12 months, in the meantime I have been stopped from driving. I feel like I am just shoved out of the way, nobody is really bothered.

Aged 90. Complex Partial
My mum is 90 and in Jan had her first complex partial
seizure
. She is on Keppra. She goes absent, smacks her lips and constantly wants to pee. Most recent lasted 18 hours. Not unusual. Should I inform her doctor every time she has a
seizure
? She has just been referred to a neurologist.

Mind Pops
Is this deja ve before a
seizure
? Most of the time the memories are little "clips" from the weird, vivid dreams I've been having caused by both anxiety and Zoloft.

I am so angry.
I suggested, with his history of
seizure
Topriamate as it is a cross over drug or a beta blockers. They had both worked for me. We had to practically beg for a neurology referral. Neither of these drugs were were given. A year later he had started a new job.

Due to take Lamotrigine
Though touch wood I have been
seizure
free for 5 days. Basically my main concern is will I feel 'dulled' and are there likely to be side effects which will lessen later. Would be starting on 25mg- eventually to 100mg.

90 days then smack
I was 3 months '
seizure
free' before it happened.. It was again a clonic-tonic
seizure
and I bit my tongue (which is quite badly hurt now) as well as my middle finger and ring finger as I had apparently clenched my fist and had smacked it against the floor..

Colloid Cyst
To remove the fluid they had to fit a temporary drain, 3 days later they removed the drain but an hour after he had a grand mal
seizure
and then for days after had multiple seizures. Throughout the entire thing, he has suffered with short term memory loss.

Back On Spironolactone And Asking For Help
I called his secretary last week and was absolutely honest: I'm filling up with ascites again, still drinking and want help stopping (as the "do it slowly so you don't have a fatal epileptic
seizure
" approach has really only encouraged me to carry on).

Any experience, suggestions regarding brain metastases found 8 months after having oesophagectomy.
Yesterday he had a full
seizure
and was taken by ambulance to hospital. Head CT scan shows swelling and probably several metastases. We have been told they will do another head Ct and full body CT today. Scans will go to St George's. No decision on treatment plan yet.

Please pray for my little sister Jenny
I did a post earlier called "Follow on from my sisters results" Well the devastating upshot was tonight, she had a major
seizure
and is now in intensive care. The Consultant thinks it may have been caused by her thyroid condition, we won't know until all the new blood results have come back.

She has just been told by a consultant neurologist that a
seizure
captured on camera while having an EEG was not epileptic as the EEG was normal and because the
seizure
looked non epileptic. is it possible to have normal EEG during a

?

Sickness and headaches after seizures.
Does anybody else suffer from a bad headache and nausea and sickness after a
seizure
? My son has this everytime and it is so distressing because he can't take painkillers for his headache as he is so sick. Is this common? x
