Burn Survivor and Stuck in Chronic Depression
I was burned 12 years ago when I had my first
seizure
, ever since then I've been diagnosed as an epileptic. I was burned on 40-50% of my body at 17 y/o, I had flatlined, and my world turned upside down.

Feelings of Deja Vu
I had a
seizure
in 2011 and ever since I have experienced occasionally a strange feeling of Deja Vu. It seems to happen when I am tired, a bit stressed or when I would have been due a period.

Advice for recently diagnosed
I’m 20 so I’m still trying to get my head around the condition, my auntie died of a epileptic
seizure
so for me all I can think about is that! Thank you! ☺️

Post exercise twitching.....anyone else feel increased twitching/jerks/spasms after voluntary movements?
This isn't
seizure
level twitching but intense momentary jerks...sometimes the same jerk five or six times in a row. Other times it's a leg or an arm, maybe a combination of limbs....you never know. The twitching seems to amplify with the intensity of my exercise.

seizure while driving?
Last year, I had weird issue while driving.it was a 5 hour drive and it was fine but then, out of the blue, couldn't control my eyes and I kind of froze up. Was able to get to side of the road, but it was scary. Now I'm on gabapentin for migraines and take valium for vertigo . But yesterday, it happened

Daughter had sensory seizure yesterday
My daughter had her first daytime
seizure
. It was a bad smell accompanied eventually by headaches, twitching eyes, and tingling face. Our doctor is increasing the keppra to 4 mL twice a day. We're also going to try melatonin to get her sleep more on track.

Vimpat and side effects?
I have had epilepsy for fifty years, the mixture of Vimpat 400 mg and Briviact 125mg seems to work, one
seizure
since April 2018 [circa 400 + seizures in 50 years] even that one
seizure
was caused via outside factors?

Mbc and epilepsy
Its a nightmare went from not having a
seizure
for 20 years to having three seizures in a row a few months back and still have jerks so I cant drive anymore, I think that's playing up more than NBC.mbc. is there anybody else on here with epilepsy and has your mbc made your epilepsy worse

Post Tracheostomy and intubation
My mum (43) was in an induced coma for 2 weeks at the start of January due to a prolonged
seizure
that was out of the blue. She was in hospital for a further two weeks as she had a tracheostomy in to help her wake with ease from the induced coma.

Personality change after SAH
I had a SAH in April 2017 no warning had a
seizure
and son found me luckily. Sent to JR in Oxford where I was operated on the next day. I had coils inserted and all seems to be going well. Headaches reduced greatly and I am back at work full time.

A bit of a GCA flare...not bad
I've had a history of bleeding ulcers (some years ago) and diverticulitis and I take anticonvulsants (no
seizure
for 45 years). Any of you who have read my posts in the past know that I'm not interested in [i]striving to get to -0-.

Foods after a seizure
Had a sleep
seizure
last night. Just in the final steps of recovering but does anyone have any advice on foods to eat after a
seizure
? I don’t know if it’s the same with others but still feel like vomiting/nausea but I know I have to eat. Any tips?

Can absence seizures cause long term memory loss?
When I was younger I had absence seizures (most mornings I would have one or two) I wasn’t fully diagnosed with them until I had a tonic clonic
seizure
in 2010. (I’m 23 years old now) And I’ve noticed that I can’t remember loads of things from when I was younger.
