A fortnight is a long time ... 🤔
A fortnight is a long time in weight loss. It isn't enough time to achieve your goals but it's long enough to derail you. The last 2 weeks have not gone well. I think it's not a stretch of the imagination to draw inferences from the last entry to this one. After much hype, fanfare and self aggrandizement

help doesn't feel available
I've been depressed since I was 9 years old and my entire life I've been trying to seek help. My parents dismissed me and very few teachers took me seriously. I had a few counselors in my youth but nothing stuck and my mental illness got more severe. At 13, I was unable to leave the house and care for

The Role of Gut Microbiome in Sleep Quality and Health: Dietary Strategies for Microbiota Support
Here's an interesting article on the relationship between gut microbiome and sleep for those who are interested in this topic. I think it went okay this time. Ignoring the anxiety and paranoia that is telling me it didn't, I talked a lot more (and maybe a little too much but I am sure they are used to that from other patients). I am now going on Zoloft, as Wellbutrin was doing super terribly for me. I now am also trying a medicine

Can't keep my eyes open!!!
The fatigue is really getting to me at the moment. I feel so groggy and whenever I sit down, my eyes get heavy and I just fall asleep. I honestly feel like I'm 37 going on 87. I can even be sat with a cup of tea or coffee, doze off and wake up to it tipped all over me. Likewise I've fallen asleep eating

Has anyone tried Celadrin or Glucosamine Sulphate for Fibro?
Hi, I recently read an article about someone with fibromyalgia who said Celadrin cream really helped them with their stiff muscles. I then did some reading of my own about it and found that celadrin works best when combined with glucosamine sulphate. Has anyone tried either of these for their fibro?

Pneumococcal vaccine
Hello everyone I recently turned 65 and was invited to get the current pneumococcal vaccine (against 28 strains, I think). Has anyone had this vaccine and subsequently had Afib problems? I had it on Friday, felt very tired, a bit shaky on Saturday and am currently in Afib in the early hours of Sunday

Glucosamine Sulphate.
Hello Fybro family, I hope you are all keeping as well as you can. Does anyone take the supplement Glucosamine Sulphate? A friend thought it might help with the pain & stiffness, though can't seem to find too much information about whether it helps with fibromyralgia. I'd be grateful in hearing about

Sleep Apnoea and AF
Good morning everyone, It’s been a while since I was last on the forum, I hope everyone is doing well. I came across a YouTube video yesterday that gave the clearest explanation of the link between obstructive sleep apnoea and AF I have ever come across. Well worth a watch if you’re newly diagnosed

Help in understanding drugs in Parkinsons
I've recently been diagnosed with Parkinsons and have been prescribed LevaDopa -1/2 tablet (125mg) 4 times per day. I understand that there are complimentary drugs such MAO-B Inhibitors (such as Selegiline, Rasagiline, and Safinamide) I've done some cursory reseach which indicates that MAO-B inhibitors
