When faded I'm left with awful permanent
scars
. Gp is baffled. I've researched myself and this is the closest I've come to answer. What do you think?

Worried and scared
I recently went for an eye test as I was having retinal migraine in my left eye. Eyes tested but when the glasses came they just weren't right. I couldn't read close up and could not see road signs or number plates. So scary. My right eye is lazy so glasses do not help that. After having two re-tests

Scars
that I'm hiding by From Ashes to new playing in my head and i can't concentrate). I can't even write coherent. I tried to take advantage of mom being briefly at work and also not wake sis by doing something that usually calms me - watching reels. But a reel about contraception triggered me.

travaprost (Travatan) side effect
I have started Travatan drops nightly for ocular hypertension, high pressure in eyes. Had 4 doses so far. They are causing painful sensitivity to light overnight and in the morning. It has slowly decreased over an hour or two but until then it is painful and distressing. Will this improve over time

How has a physical injury 🤕 affected your Depression and Anxiety...&how to help a loved one in the same boat?
Her main concern is how it will look, as she's averse to
scars
and her other ankle has a pretty noticable one. I'm concerned she won't get the full range of motion back after 2 months of the tendon retracting while she waited for medical care.

NMDA and AMPA are both synthesized chemicals that activate glutamate receptors, they incite glutamate excitotoxicity
This begs the question - if these are not naturally occurring substances in our body - how the hell did they get into our brains? And what can we do about it? NMDA is not an endogenous (native) substance. It's not found in our body tissue but rather synthesized as an excitotoxin for research into NMDA

May the healing ❤️‍🩹
scars
be with me and the zapped nerves NOT regenerate … ever!! Will continue with heart meds, especially anticoagulants. Trust the experts; have confidence in your EP; breathe deeply; live and eat healthy. Have a great QOL in the remaining 10-20 years! (I’m 69).

COPD CT scan with contrast Vs fev1/fev
Hi all new here I have been diagnosed with emphysema for around 2 months now from a x-ray then a CT scan with contrast. I have a long wait for spirometry through the NHS so I booked a private one and had it today. it shows my fev1/Fev is 71% which now has me confused as my breathlessness and symptoms

An Update to Tokyo Update
The
scars
are hardly noticeable and photos will follow next month at 6 months post OP. What can I say; the AFA bio says that I joined the AFA site late 2018 (about 6 months after my AFib diagnosis).

Afib worse after ablation
But Afib gets Afib anyway, and probably it is better to avoid the establishment of rogue signal paths through the heart’s little
scars
left by ablation. I have a paroxismal Afib, a episode every about two or three weeks.

Help please
Even tho I’ve never had to deal with acne issues or any bumps/
scars
on my face, my skin still doesn’t seem to look clear. My face also has become wider in size and looks much bigger now.

Dorsal Slit post op issue
The initial healing, stitches dissolving etc has been all fine BUT I have 2 issues: 1. it seems where the cuts have healed, it has also hard up the
scars
tissue. Kind of tightening up the skin. and I can’t pull the foreskin back still.

I'm working hard on loving my body as it is (wibbles and wobbles and

and all!) and taking the best care of it I can.

Sensitive (but hopeful)
I also have physical and mental
scars
. It's hard to accept that it's numbers, or chance, and that you have to keep throwing the dice, but they have now rolled twice for me so I can't argue. What I have achieved, I think, is closure.
