Suspected Sweets Syndrome

Hi,I have been suffering with these lesions on my arms for the past 12 months.

Very painful, hot and get infected. Not itchy, skin doesn't break.

When faded I'm left with awful permanent scars.

Gp is baffled. I've researched myself and this is the closest I've come to answer. What do you think?

looks very much like my sweets spots. After being pink/red and inflamed, they go purple. They do eventually fade.

I have SS . It looks exactly like mine did . My GP also had no idea. After several visits and creams etc . I was sent to the dermatologist . I had a punch biopsy. And a diagnosis 2 yrs later. 6yrs on I have been on treatment and no lesions for a year. It was the constant fatigue that got me down. I am now anemic. Take care and good luck

Thank you for replying,😊Do you mind if I ask what medication you take for this? We're you told what causes it? Yes the fatigue is awful. I also have pernicious anaemia and should have B12 injections every 8 weeks but my gp stopped them..funny enough this all started shortly after! Maybe a cause? I'm seeing dermatologist Wednesday x

Hi Lolabear,

Possibly SS. You'll need blood tests and a skin biopsy.
