It's been a while since I last posted here so for those who don't know I've been ttc for the past 2 years and a half and after all the investigations I end up doing one laparoscopy one salpingectomy one tube was removed and two months ago I had one polyp removed. After doing egg sharing back in February and they discovered the polyp I had to freeze my embryos and wait for it to be removed which was after a month's wait and after the recovery and the waiting for the results I finnaly had the the date to start my FET. So last week had my first appointment and just had to call in on the 1st day of my period and surprise surprise it showed up Saturday so was quite pleased for it so I booked the scan for today which is my 5th day after less than a minute in the nurse tells me that she can see a blob and looks like a polyp I couldn't believe and of course the tears started rolling because that's was the last thing I was expecting to hear so she tells me she has to show it to the doctor to know what to do. After that I was booked for another scan on Tuesday to see if it's gone or the do a contrast scan to have a positive or negative on the polyp. So here's my question is it possible for a polyp to return so soon after it being removed and nothing else being found?? Sorry for the long post for now just want to pray that with was just some shades on the walls.

You poor thing, sounds like a rough time. I have no advice or experience on this one I'm afraid but just wanted to wish you all the best xxxx
Thank you just waiting for Tuesday
I'm sorry to hear what a tough time you've had. I don't know the answer to your question either but I really hope it all turns out well. I was diagnosed by the sonographer and consultant with a polyp in IVF and told they would have to cancel the cycle and I was booked in for an op to remove it. But I happened to have another scan already booked which I went to a couple of days later. It ended up being with a different doctor who said there was no polyp (and this was subsequently confirmed by two other doctors). Apparently they are very hard to see and diagnose properly. So I really hope the contrast scan gives you good news. Xx
I really hope so because after having it removed just two months ago for it to be back will be another blow. I've already had to cancel one go and though this one was going all the way but once again there'ssomething on my way. And to pay £400 just for a scan it seems so crazy.
Is the £400 for the contrast scan? It is ridiculous how much all this stuff costs. Really, really unfair.
Hi. It's so unfortunate to read everything you've been through. For sure it is not known how long it takes a polipo to grow again. It is only known that they tend to grow when estrogen levels are high. And they develop on any mucosal surface. So you can have one, but not in the exact place where you extracted the other.
With regard to prevention, it is also difficult to carry out, since it is not known exactly what are the causes of their training. Maintaining a healthy diet rich in antioxidants may be beneficial, but there is no scientific evidence.
I recommend that you go to your doctor. There, you should be given a hormone test to check your levels.
I hope everything goes well. I wish you the best.
Thank you for your reply but for the past 3 year been having all kind of tests and all of the sudden I have a polyp but more strange for me was never expecting it to return if was to return why so soon after the removal??
Did you have a test to determine the exact location of the new polyp ?. So you can check if it has grown in the same place as the previous one (which is unlikely). The time of appearance of the polyps is somewhat uncertain.
Actually they realised it wasn't but because my lining was to thick I have to take some tablets to get a bleed
What good news. I hope everything goes well for you and you can improve.
Thank you pinning now is perfect but its getting hard to ovulate
Have faith that everything will work out well and you can get your bleeding. My best wishes
