do you know if there is a list of UK doctors that are B12 experts? I have parietal cell antibodies but not IF antibodies so not diagnosed with pernicious anaemia. Bloods in Aug '23 showed B12 at 150 so was started in B12 injections (I had no symptoms of low b12 apart from slightly tired) Had loading

labs results that contraindicate one another
Hi all, I’ve been having pretty constant parasthesias on both sides of my body usually worse from shoulders down to fingers, initial B12 level was 190 (was 845 four years ago). New doctor had me test for IF antibodies immediately after giving me a B12 injection which was negative and she stated

GP says results are fine
Fatigue, brainfog, muscle aches, joint pain, and other various symptoms. Below are my blood test results. The GP stated there is nothing of concern. He seemed more focused on mental health issues. Is there anything obvious below? Someone said to post here. Rheumatoid factor 8 Range: Below 12.5

Malabsorption of drugs?
I am still awaiting a diagnosis of PA, but do suspect I do have it. My stomach pH level was recently 8.1, so very low stomach acid, which is why I am not absorbing/processing B12, iron and folate. I also did a test which showed I have very low diamine oxidase in my gut so have histamine intolerance.

Folic acid question
I've just had a thought about my folic acid. I have mild covid and my rheumy nurse told me to stop mtx for 2 weeks. I forgot to ask if I should continue taking the folic acid daily or is there no need to take it if I'm not taking mtx.Does anyone have experience of this please?

Another adjustment
Ok, so my table needed to first :-) not sure how to move it down, but please read below... First, thanks for this great community. I have benefited from lots of wisdom and experience over the past three years. Last year my endo freaked when my TSH was low. I attempted to stand up for myself, but

Hypocellular bone marrow. Can anyone tell me more?
I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency ("low serum B12") over 15 years ago when debilitating exhaustion was putting my job at risk. Doctors assumed diet related because I was usually vegan at home but still ate meat and fish two or three times a week. I am diary intolerant with eczema (but crave custard

Macrocytic Anemia?
Hi, I am posting here for my Mom. She had blood work every year with perfect results until last year in September when the Hemoglobin/RBC/Hemocrit started dropping. She never had anemia before. In March of this year MCV and MCH started going up and be higher then normal. I took her to a hematologist

Low Red Blood Cell count and GFR kidney count blamed on PMR. Is this true?
I have just had some blood test results. There are several results which need looking at but someone has added "Normal for this patient". When I have asked before PMR or Pred have been blamed. I took your advice once over breathlessness for example and the GP did further tests. Now the Red Blood
