Add Nubeqa to Orgovyx?
Age 81. I had prostate radiation in 2021, and pelvic node radiation in 2023. PSA was 3.78 in Dec 2023. PSMA PET then showed cancer growing in prostate, shrinking in pelvic node, but spread to an abdominal node. I have started ADT with Orgovyx (relugolix) and want to add an ARI. The urologist wants

Unsure of best option in early prostate cancer diagnosis.
I have had PSA tests annually for 10 years and in Oct 2023 had an elevated 6.42 result. Was referred to a urologist, whom performed a DRE. There was prostate enlargement but no tumor discovered through DRE. After discussing several options, I decided to have a biopsy on Nov 21, 2023. Dec 5, 2023,

Elevated creatinine from tacrolimus?
I am 19 months out from my kidney transplant from a deceased donor. Was doing well and my creatinine was actually within the normal range at about a year post transplant. However, since then my creatinine has been creeping up and now is 1.74. Have tried lowering my protein intake, and more hydration

ADT & Mets
Quick question. Let's say that you have Mets and don't know it. You think the PCa is contained because our last Pet-scan 2 months earlier said so. Are we wasting time going onto ADT if that treatment is mainly for contained PCa? Or will the ADT put a lid on the Mets wherever they are in our body?

AlteraAI test
Has anyone tried the AlteraAI test that uses AI to analyze the tumor samples and can predict the risk of developing metastatic disease after radiation for localized tumor with or without ADT. It has just been approved by Medicare. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6UOmj7z8Jw&t=10s&ab_channel=ProstateForumofOrangeCounty

PET Scan Results
Can anyone help me interpret my PET scan results from yesterday, and suggest possible courses of action? They seemed bad, but not disastrous. âFocal uptake in the right prostate bed (max SUV 5.3) as well as the right lesser trochanter (max SUV 4.5), not present on the prior study, suspicious for

propranolol
hello. I had an awful anxiety attack that started on Sunday. I used to have them in the past as well as depression but taking sertraline 3 times a week helped keep things under control. Iâm menopausal and on HRT and I think itâs related. I spoke to a GP who prescribed propranolol for the physical symptoms

Great paper on long-term side effects of various treatments for PCa..
You may need to create a guest account to view this - but it's worth it: https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2814131 It's a paper (2024) of a study of long term side effects, treatment effectiveness and mortality based on 4 different treatments (2 only for high-risk treatments.) The

Protecting our Manhood
OK, I'm going to be open and honest and looking for the same from my fellow compatriots. From what I know, ADT, once it gets going, will physically affect our family jewels. Shrinkage is one of the things that is likely to happen. What is the best way to try and reduce these effects? I see that
