hip replacement, nerve pain : hi just... - Arthritis Action
hip replacement, nerve pain
I had nerve pain that went from hip to knee and down into foot , was told it had nothing to do with my hip . It disappeared after getting my new hip !! I hope your pain will do the same x
Hi Daisy,
I had the same - in fact I got the strange pain radiating down my thigh before I ever got any hip pain - apparently it's a very common sign of hip osteoarthritis, but I thought it was all sorts of things before my diagnosis. Happy to say it completely went after my hip replacement in January. All of that nasty arthritis pain went straight after the op.
I had terrible pain down my leg before my hip replacements but after yipppeee yes it all went and I felt like I had a new lease of life The pain before is so rotten I do feel for you
Good luck won't be long now before you feel so much better x
oh lovely, I can’t wait it’s horrible seeing things that need doing, my husband is brilliant but it’s not the same, grandchildren as well feel I am missing out, anyway not too long as you say, thank you x
