In what way would the codes be able to help ???

Offcut profile image
Offcut in reply toZorago365

It allows you to talk in their language and maybe get them to put the right info regading your case. I have 6 of the conditions shown. At my ATOS meeting I fully explained my conditions and they did not put any of them down. If I knew the codes they used before I could of asked that they take these into account when I filled the form in. They are under quilified box tickers trying save the government money.

Interesting, I have worked out I have 6 code's for my health condition, However Atos health Dr's assess your condition by computer tick list, Your health opinion/or knowlege of your condition is not taken or noted. This is why when you receive your assessment report it look's like it belongs to someone else or lie's about you......

Would it be better to write a letter with your condition codes along with your esa 50 / PIP form ???

any doctors consultant notes should be sent with the forms so they have them there and ask that they have that info as well. I won my ESA appeal under regulations 29 and 35

I have just received my esa form through the post, i have been on incapacity benefit, but obv now all changing, the comp that assess for my area actually get a bonus from gov for every person the get off the esa, even though on appeal 50% of people can win their appeal, doesnt matter bcoz that doesnt register on Atos' results, stressing about it since they sent letter telling me to expect form :-(((

I would say you can as since I posted this I am now on Enhanced PIP on both sections. It is all down to what you say in the face to face and put on the forms. I was surprised how many aids I do use just to do daily living tasks. Long handled shoe horn, jar openers and pick up sticks to name a few.

Never say on a good day only a better day.
