It's been a journey
Hi I'm new. But not new to fibromyalgia. Diagnosed 15 years ago. Now diagnosed with osteoarthritis pretty much everywhere. Greatest challenge besides the obvious has been medications. Lyrica? I'm allergic. Cymbalta? Makes me bitchy. Elavil? Made me gain 15 lbs which makes pain worse. Gabapentin? Makes

At the end of the rope.
I have reached out here as we have no where else left. My husband has had issues with pain for many years but it had been manageable with quality of life. It has now been chronic for two years, since April 2015. He can no longer function, work or play with his kids. I have become the full time carer

Does APS cause nerve pain?
I've had APS for nearly 30 years and been on Warfarin for about the last 20. Recently, I have terrible pain in my left arm keeping me up at night. Cervical X Ray shows narrowing but not unusual for a woman of 52. Taking Robaxin doesn't help much at all. Went to a chiropractor who said I have a

It happens when I
relaxin
the evening and when I am on a long journey in the car. I was reading about the biglycerate and was thinking I would try it but unsure of what to buy. On the forum I can see there is iron biglycerate and magnesium.

Medication
I went and saw my pain mamanagement doctor yesterday and he changed my muscle relaxer to baclofen. Has anyone used this and what do you think about it. I was on robaxin before and was growing immune to it.

Up Next: Baclofen
Well, it's not the med I asked for, but hopefully it's the med I need. I asked the doctor to try skelaxin, but he said that wasn't good for long term use. As aways, will let you know how it goes.

More failed medication attempts
So this week I'm trying codeine and/or ambien. The codeine is 15 mg and seems to have no real effect (there might be a slight effect) and whatever it does doesn't last very long (seems to wear off after an hour), also gave me head aches. I think I actually slept better on the ambien (didn't feel as groggy

Attention ladies, this one's for you!!!!
Because of the release of the hormone
relaxin
during pregnancy, some ligaments and tendons might soften. This will make you more vulnerable to injury, especially around your pelvis.

Well I went for my appointment with my doctor this afternoon to tell him about my chest pains. He assured me it was all down to the fibro, he listened to my heart and said it was fine. I came away with some Robaxin to try and some Laxido (co-codomol bunging me up :( ) I take trazodone at night but

How to Prevent Back Pain in New Mums
Try not to sit with your legs crossed as this will put a twist through your low back and pelvis, which if you are still breastfeeding are still vulnerable due to the high levels of a hormone known as
