My story. Need some advide
Hi everyone, I'm new on this forum (although I registered in July). I want to share my story since I'm looking for some help and advice. Don't mind my poor English skills but I'm not used to write in this language. I'm 30. It has been years of feeling unwell and sick but two years ago my health started

Should I decrease Levo after first week with t3? Lab results
Had Graves and total total thyroidectomy 2014. Was on 100 Levo and felt ok ( maybe oversubscribed with Tsh 0,5 and t4 always in the upper end) until 2 years ago when I had a lot of stomach issues due to stress and anxiety. Now when I supplement with betaine hcl and digestive enzymes it’s so much better

Nutritional therapist and supplements...
Hi folks I recently went to see a nutritional therapist, as I've started following Isabella Wentz' Hashimotos Protocol but was not sure I was getting the nutritional side of it right. The NT was helpful in this regard, but has also suggested a load more supplements which I'd like to get more opinions

How to stop heartburn/GERD
I've been on 100mg levo for about 14mths now. I take Vit D and iron supplements (tummy friendly apparently) and feel well..... except for fact I now get almost daily attacks of GERD. I've done the baking powder test and feel quite convinced I have low acid issues. I take apple cider vinegar and Betaine

Has anyone who uses betaine hcl stopped suddenly and got stomach pains. I had steak and didn’t use it and now I’m a bit of pain.
Have been using betaine hcl for a couple of weeks. Stopped tonight because I feel it’s making my silent reflux worse and now have sore stomach and diahhrea

I posted this a few days ago and only got one reply. I asked Rescuema for help by private message and asked if I could post the precious info she generously gave me, as it could potentially help other members: 3 days ago•1 Reply
Are there supplements one can take to reduce E Faecalis naturally?[

Severe abdominal bloating
Hi. First time poster here and looking for help. In October last year I had the worst abdominal bloating ever. No pain. It was there all day but increased after meals. I’m very slim so it’s really noticeable and really depressing me. My GP checked my bloods to rule out ovarian cancer and found the following

Betaine HCL
I am actually experimenting with Betaine HCL and have just been taking it for a few days. I am taking it for reflux but it seems like it may be giving me more reflux. But it may just be coincidence. I am taking 2 pills 649mg with meals and experiencing reflux about 2 hours later. Is that a sign I don

IBS basics for beginners

PMS or Underactive thyroid .??
Can underactive thyroid give PMS symptoms. At 55 yrs of age I suspect that my 3 months of missing periods are probably my body's way of letting me know I'm going through the change. However question I have is . Could the pains in my lower stomach be related to thyroid medication . I currently take 100mcg

Questions regarding symptoms
Is it normal to have random bouts of nausea and dizziness (feeling like your going to pass out)? I’ve had lower blood pressure in general, but was higher for a bit and now seemingly gone down again around the same time as starting injections and have had a few of these episodes. I am taking a b complex

Betaine hydrochloride with pepsin
Hi does anyone take this? I just bought the solgar brand and only just looked up side effects now as it just got delivered. I’m just a bit weary about taking it. There doesn’t seem to be an awful lot of information on it and whether it actually works. So does anyone else take these on a regular basis
