How long is the average recovery from a non-intrusive neurosurgery operation?
Hi I'm new here and would welcome any advise or tips.I am not sure what to expect or what is considered 'normal' expectations of recovery, so am looking for tips, advice, similar experiences out there. I'm not even sure if I can be considered as having brain injury owing to my individual situation.

Twinges
Hope all are well. Does anyone get Intermittent like twinges on the left side of their chest? I had them yesterday, although I've been celebrating my 50th this week so been drinking and eating more than usual. I also have an hiatus hernia so not sure if that as something to do with it. Also had a bit

T-11 fracture! No wonder it hurts!
Yesterday, my husband drove me three hours roundtrip to see new rheumatologist (useless) and my pain specialist of several years (always helpful). Later ordered x-rays and gave me prescribed for opiates that have no NSAIDs or Tylenol. Also gave me shot of Toradol. This is an injectable NSAID that

Stent needed?
Hi. I've just had a call from my Cardiologist. She asked how I was and said that my ct scan showed some narrowing of arteries but wasn't the worst she'd ever seen. However she wants to investigate further and wants me to have an Angiography. She also said I've to start statins and to speak to gp in

Stent or meds?
I had a angiogram yesterday and they found a blocked artery (80%+). I’m now on statin (Simvaststin 40mg) and Beta blocker (Bisoprolol 2.5 mg). Been on Ramipril (10mg) since Jan. Doc says to try this for 3 months and see if I still get angina. If not, could stay on the meds - or he said a stent. If I

Cardio consultant appointment
Hi, good morning Have got an appointment next week with cardio consultant. Had Stemi HA and stent April 2019 totally out of the blue and not really feeling 100% yet. Am I expecting too much? Had lots of return visits to a&e and 2 week stay after big GI bleed from the medicines. Still very tired in afternoons

GTN spray
Hello hope all are well. Anyone had any issues with taking their GTN spray on a plane or any other meds. It's my first time flying since my HA and stent.

Stent inside stent
Hi Has anyone on here had a stent put inside a partly collapsed stent? As I had this done last year and started to be unwell since this procedure was done it's been nearly a year now and the symptoms have got much worse. Apparently my heart is ok by the tests that have been done but doctors seem to don't

Kissing ovaries and obstructed ureter
I'm new to this forum. I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis this January after years of horrendous periods, which I assumed were normal! I'm 28 years old, no children, and no desire to have children. I'm in a same sex relationship as well. I have 'kissing ovaries' which have massive cysts on them
