4 weeks tomorrow I had heart attack had a stent fitted, have been reasonably well, however I’m now having some palpitations with irregular beats. Anyone else have the same.

I would suggest your first port of call is your GP. Triggers for palpitations include coffee, alcohol, chocolate and spicy food so if they are in your diet you could try eliminating them.

Did you ever get an answer as to why you were having skipped beats? I’m four weeks post one stent and having the same thing

Hi Buffy, I’m now nearly 12 weeks post op one stent, still have occasional palpitations, cardiac nurse did say it’s quite normal in the early days, however to always call if worried.
