Has anyone on here had a stent put inside a partly collapsed stent? As I had this done last year and started to be unwell since this procedure was done it's been nearly a year now and the symptoms have got much worse. Apparently my heart is ok by the tests that have been done but doctors seem to don't know what is causing these problems I have.
Thanks

Can only advise I had the same thing and after 6 months had a repair in the stent area which also lasted 6 months leading to a bypass. I would ask if they could carry out an angiogram to inspect the area your concerned about to either prove there's a problem or rule it out
Thanks for the reply I had 4x stents done after a mi in November 2017 but kept having pain in chest for over a year so they did another angioplasty in March 2019 and found stent kinked in lad so they put another stent inside the stent. But since then in fact 1 day after this was done I started getting unwell with nausea muscle weakness. Had another angioplasty in August and they found stents were ok but they did a pressure test on stents which was painful and made symptoms even worse and they are getting worse had loads of tests done but they have all come back normal.
Had a new stent inserted inside another stent in my LAD due to 'kinking' of the original stent. Found during routine 2nd angigram for other reasons, no symptoms before it or since.
I was wondering if I was the only person to have a stent inside another stent in the lad. I'm glad it has worked out ok for you wasn't sure if they were suppose to do a bypass instead of stenting the lad.
