Have got an appointment next week with cardio consultant. Had Stemi HA and stent April 2019 totally out of the blue and not really feeling 100% yet. Am I expecting too much?
Had lots of return visits to a&e and 2 week stay after big GI bleed from the medicines. Still very tired in afternoons , breathless and get aches and pains in left chest main resting or when lying in bed. Heart rate through out 24 hrs ranges from 40 at night to about 200 at times in day.
Haven’t had echo (Ef of 50%)and 72hr holter (showing AF) since June 2019 and am wondering what to expect from this upcoming appointment ?
Can Anyone enlighten me what usually happens at these appointment and what questions I should be thinking of asking? - except when will I be back to normal!
Can’t help feeling that this appointment is just a paper ticking task as I have got no results from tests for her to compare to?
Thanks

There is an element of box ticking but that does not mean it’s a pointless exercise. I cannot tell you what questions to ask but the advice is to write down everything you want an answer to as in the appointment you will almost certainly forget.
My experience, limited fortunately, is that this will be blood pressure, maybe ECG and a ‘brief’ discussion. It is up to you just how brief that discussion is.
