? possible MVA

Hi, I had one stent in my LAD in Oct.2019 - after 18 months of increasing breathlessness and tight chest feelings. I am attending Cardio rehab which is great and seemy cardio nurse regularly. BUT I still have shortness of breath when approaching anything like an incline not to say a hill. When i saw my cardiologist last week he dismissed the idea of reaction to Ticalgrelor which both the physio and nurse thought might be causing the problem. i am waiting - still waiting - for aprofusion scan which I should have had by now but there is still a two month backlog. Any ideas out there? I fancy itmight be MVA - After my op I did dtake myself to A and E twice as I still felt bad but all tests proved there was "nothing wrong". My husband is getting fed up with me - he is a walker - need I say more?

Jane.

Hi Bartie123

Does your Cardiologist have any understanding or knowledge about Microvascular and vasospastic angina?

They are so often overlooked but much more common than previously thought.

Have you seen this BHF Heart Matters Magazine article?

bhf.org.uk/informationsuppo...

The perfusion MRI can pick up MVA due to the inability of the small blood vessels to dilate but not vasomotion disorders

My specialist published this research recently

ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161...

Also ask your Cardiologist if they are aware of Prof Colin Berry's research
