So much pain after TOT + prolapse surgery 7 years ago
I had a trans-obtural tape inserted for a bladder problem (the tape was threaded through my bladder and I had to go down for surgery to have it removed the following day (another one was inserted after I requested for it not to be redone) ) + a cystocele and
rectocele
(excuse the spelling) repairs.

Rectocele
The women that have
rectocele
pain, I was trying to see if I was the only one? Schedule for surgery on 10/11, vagina pain and lower stomach pain is no joke. Will keep you posted after my surgery.

Rectocele Issues
I have had the symptoms of
Rectocele
for a long time but my GP has, until now, chosen to ignore them. I am currently waiting for a follow-up with a general surgery consultant after a few weeks of extensive exploration of my colon.

My abdo saga: jackpot...THANK YOU FOLKS
Well, time will tell...but this feels like a good beginning And: HURRAH: the layman's diagnosis you've helped me to piece together seems to be spot on (sjogrens + SLE + EDH affecting viscera & peritoneum, +
Rectocele
& Cystocele).

The surgery has been done.
I had the "
Rectocele
"repair and have been told everything should be back in working order in about six to nine weeks. In the meantime I have to do no heavy lifting anything heavier than a half full kettle is a nono. That means I can't even carry my handbag.

Back to the hospital for surgery.
I wrote a post a couple of weeks ago about going for tests which came back clear, but I had a "
Rectocele
". I know some of you googled this and asked if anything could be done to help repair it.

Pelvic floor issues
Dr also diagnosed
rectocele
prolapse. Have tried PT, nerve blocks, pain meds. nothing works. Currently trying aquatic exercises to strengthen pelvic floor. HELP? Dr. has recommended
rectocele
prolapse surgery...which I fear may make the pain worse. HELP?? any suggestions?

Bowel problems
I have irritable bowel so discomfort has become the norm and also have a
rectocele
which is very unpleasant. This basically means my bowel wall is weak and often balloons into my bladder area which means I have to physically push it back again.

Feeling defeated
The pain has slowly crept back in over the last 8 months and I have now developed a cystocele and a
rectocele
and currently have a pessary ring to sort the bladder prolapse but just so embarrassed with all the problems down there particularly the
rectocele
and I don't know what's next.
