Rectocele anyone?
I am looking for other women's experiences regarding a
rectocele
? I was diagnosed around 25 years ago but really had no symptoms until recently. Now I have a feeling of pressure in my rectum most of the time and it's very uncomfortable.

Rectocele repair surgery
I have been looking and looking for people's experiences of
rectocele
repair surgery and all I could find was stuff that completely terrified me, so much so I was in two minds whether or not to have the surgery.

Prolapse help please
I have a
rectocele
and would like an operation. I am looking to see if I can have it done privately but wonder if anyone else has had one who is immunosuppressed? I am on Methotrexate and Imraldi .

I had pelvic prolapse, cystocele and
rectocele
. Had pelvic prolapse repair 1 year ago, they took out uterus and tightened vagina to hold bladder & bowel. When I came too after op, they said I had a cyst one my left ovary so would need another op yo remove this.

Urinary retention after rectocele op.
Hi there I had a
rectocele
5 days ago and just recovering at home. The bleeding nearly stopped now that’s good. But I am concerned as I can’t empty my bladder fully.

how long is mini qfora tip?
I have
rectocele
and possible intussuseption again I actually just had surgery for this five months ago. I’m having to irrigate again but it seems like I hurt myself every time with these long tipped fleets.

Is what I'm experiencing Pelvic Pain? Plus Spritz for Bits?
I'm 77 years old and have been diagnosed with
rectocele
and cystocele by my GP and also a private consultant, who told me he could do nothing until I had done 16 weeks of pelvic floor exercises.

ongoing chronic constipation.. ‘opioid bowel & interstitial cystitis… test results!
A large
rectocele
& possibly a cystocele I’m having a transit study… but am allowed my usual analgesia & laxatives. If it transpires it it’s mostly pelvic related then I shall have ring pessary fitted to ‘hold things up like a tent!

Colpocleisis
I have been advised that my best bet to correct my
rectocele
(1st surgery failed) is to have Colpoclesis surgery. Has anyone or anyone you know had this surgery?

Rectocele and laparoscopy
I've been offered surgical repair of the
rectocele
as well as a laparoscopy because of the level of pelvic pain I have been having but the risk of it causing further pain has been communicated as 50%! I'm very concerned about being left with pain from the repair.

Endometriosis surgery with pelvic floor dysfunction
(I also have a rectal prolapse and
rectocele
. :( So it’s hard to know how surgery will affect these other things in the same area). Any tips as I decide whether or not to do the surgery? Thanks in advance! 🙏

Urodynamics procedure?
I had a ventouse birth with my 3rd baby which resulted in a moderate cystocele and
rectocele
. Since then I've had another baby, a year worth of physio and now my prolapse(s??) have gotten worse and the back wall is now severely prolapsed.

Vaginal pessaries
My gp surgery now fit pessaries themselves, apparently, but I strongly suspect they are only able to fit a ring pessary, which I understand are unsuitable for a
rectocele
