Perineural invasion after RP: next steps?
A friend of mine has Gleason 7 PCa. He chose to have the RP. During a follow-up consultation he was informed that there were no positive margins, and there was no lymph node or seminal vesicle involvement. The report he was handed noted that he was positive for perineural invasion. He didn't catch

Bladder Cancer Blood Test
I have damage to my bladder as a result of Prostate Cancer Guided Radiation Treatment, in 2013. I have had a couple of instances this year of small clots, in my urine. The last Urologist that used a scope up my penis to check for Bladder Cancer, a few years ago, caused a lot of pain and bleeding. I

How to care for cancer patient when I have a cold
I am caring for my husband who has just started his cancer (Barrett's Esophagus) treatment this Monday (3
radiotherapy
sessions and 1 chemotherapy so far). I am devastated, I had a sore throat on Sunday night, then had a cold! I can hear that he had a slight cough once or twice today!

PSA 3.12 after 3/17 radical prostatectomy. Future treatment thoughts?
I'm new to Advanced Prostate Cancer, moving "up" from Prostate Cancer Network due to recent pathology results after da Vinci radical prostatectomy (RP) on March 17 in Spokane, WA, with Dr. Raymond Lance, who had more than 2,000 da Vinci RPs under his belt. I feel very good about this choice. Surgery

PSMA PET-CT in patients with high-risk PCa before curative-intent surgery or radiotherapy ...
From
MedPage Today
article [2]: "In men with high-risk prostate cancer, imaging with prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET-CT prior to curative surgery or
radiotherapy
proved far more accurate than conventional imaging for detecting metastatic disease, a randomized trial found.

should I go to work
I am due to start
radiotherapy
in two weeks for an inguinal lymph node. I had no worries about going to work as i am fit and well. But with all the information on the TV I am beginning to wonder if going to work is a good idea.

Coronavirus
We do know that covid 19 is primarily affecting the respiratory system, so those that have had lung surgey or lung treatment including chemotherapy,
radiotherapy
, targeted therapies and immunotherapy and those with lung cancer should think about including themselves in the vulnerable category.

What are the options if I am unable to have
radiotherapy
? I am also concerned that if I can have
radiotherapy
it may impact on both my ED and bladder control as both are working well post surgery. As ever any advice much appreciated from this wonderful forum.

Zoladex advice please
The consultant says he can delay
radiotherapy
until after my holiday but I've heard that you get heavy bleeding for the first few weeks on Zoladex. If I have heavy bleeding I'll be doubled over in pain and the holiday won't be much fun.
