December 2018 psa 0.08

April 2019 0.11

Octobre 2019 0,10

April 2020 0,13

are these fluctuations normal or do they tend that hormone therapy does not work very well. When I see some results with 0.00, I am amazed at my father's results. With our confinement in France, the appointments with specialists have been canceled. Please enlighten me if you can. in any case good luck because you live like us, a hard time. Take care of yourself

Can you get abiraterone instead of Casodex?

Those are still low PSA numbers. The fluctuations may be due to inflammation. I would not be too anxious to stop Casodex and Lupron.

Hello and thank you for your answers. Indeed, I think zytiga could be the next step. Her appointment with the urologist is in June. As for Casodex, he only took it once at the start of hormone therapy. Magnus, I don't understand why you're talking about stopping hormone therapy unless I didn't understand. do you think that 0.10 0.11 or 0.13 means that hormone therapy has never really worked?

Hello, thanks for your reply, john. it is true that his psa is not really high but it is never very stable either and has never been very good. we will wait until June, for his appointment with the urologist. For the moment, we mostly cross our fingers so as not to catch this terrible virus. With us, in France, the next two weeks will be apparently terrible ... we are waiting for the wave, respecting the instructions. good courage to all of you and take care of yourself.
