Radiotherapy to the chest.
Weve come into hospital again and they have said they will do some
radiotherapy
to the chest, windpipe, bronchial area to try to reduce tumor and relieve symptoms.

Relevant study comparing RP patients to men who choose watch and wait ? High quality studies?
It seems that most people would want to undergo a particular medical procedure only if there were proven benefits when compared to doing nothing and waiting for additional symptoms to appear before then moving ahead with medical treatments. With that in mind, while doing a search for something else PCa

Short Term or Long(er) Term ADT With Salvage RT
Hi all, Need thoughts on whether my physician is on the right track recommending only 6 months of ADT (Lupron). I'm early 60s and very fit. Just completed salvage radiation to PB and PLN and 6-month Lupron shot. Radiation therapy began 6 months following RALP. Happy to get off ADT (usual side effects

Was anyone not offered any treatment?
She was offered no biopsy and hence no chemo or
radiotherapy
, as they said a biopsy can be invasive and she could die from this. We were also told that chemo or
radiotherapy
would only give her about 3-6 months more and wasn't worth it as the side effects would be terrible.

Attention Travelers on Pluvicto!
I was administered my first dose of Pluvicto on August 30. On September 15, I drove back from a trip to Thunder Bay, ON, Canada into Minnesota. At the Pigeon River border crossing, I was flagged due to tripping the radiation detector while I was in the car! After being asked what I did and bought

Followed by chemo/
radiotherapy
. Last year she was diagnosed with intestinal cancer, the consultant pointed out that this could have been caused by the
radiotherapy
she had in 1983. She had the affected section removed and lived with a stoma bag for 6 months, with

treatment.

PSA Expectations after SRT with Concurrent ADT
Greetings! I just wrapped up 7 weeks of salvage radiation therapy on 26 August that was done with concurrent androgen deprivation therapy, and I'm about to go for my first post-treatment PSA test. (We agreed the ADT would be a one-time, 6-month dose to assist with the SRT.) I'm just not sure where

Why arent Stage 4 lung cancer patients offered surgery?
So, I was at my sisters and she was saying how her friend with breast cancer had undergone surgery (as well as chemotherapy and
radiotherapy
) I said, "it's a good job they caught it early.

Game Plan
Looks like I have a game plan with the Stephenson Cancer Center at the University of Oklahoma. Lupron treatment( hormone therapy). MRI/CT Scan one week before SRBT radiation treatment. SRBT radiation treatment (imaging guided and 5 visits). Does not include the visit for the placement of the markers
