Failed Radioiodine
Has anyone had RAI and have it fail? I had my treatment on the 24th Sept. Bloods 3 weeks later were normal, however my heart rate has rocketed in the past few days. My resting is usually mid-high 50's, now it's hovering around 100 and I'm having to use propanolol for the first time in months. Just wanted

Has anyone had kyphoplasty procedure to lumbar spine & how long did pain last?
My mom just had a kyphoplasty procedure last Tuesday to her lumbar spine as a precautionary procedure to strengthen her bone after having SBRT radiation. She has been taking codeine for the past few days but is still in a significant amount of pain, although the pain she experienced in her legs decreased

I’ve now been on Levo since April following RAI in January. First off I want to say thank you to all those generous people who have offered information and assurance. I’m finally getting to follow your advice regarding early morning blood tests, when I mentioned what I was doing to the endo specialist

Embarrassment of dealing with extreme pain
Or.... Embarrassment 0f being ill Like most people, sorry it's been a while. I just had my first pain clinic, and thank FUNK that I got the reassurance that I so badly needed. Someone who actually understands what my pain is and doesn't appear to be scrutinising every word and action so they can use

Thyroid and Ringing Ears
Hi I would like to ask if constant ringing in one ear could be yet one more symptom of thyroid dysfunction. I am originally Hyperthyroid due to Nodules overproducing and I take Carbimazole 5mg Monday and Friday 2.5 mg Wednesday. Now aiming for 5mg twice a week. Latest results from a week ago TSH 2.48

Hi i was recently diagnosed a week ago, my MBL crossed over the 5000 threshold, and now officially RAI 0. Flow/FISH was done, im 13q deleted, ZAP70 and CD38 negative. RLS TREATMENT: Every day I read questions and answers on this forum and I would like to share with you some of my concerns
about the replies given to the many RLS sufferers who are struggling with their medication. All medications, if you read the leaflets, have side-effects and complications and at the end of the day, we have to weigh up which ones are going to be effective for each of us individually. 1.Dopamine Agonists

Good news - different injector - no blood shot eyes!
I recently wrote than when a particular individual did my eye injections I came out with two bloodshot eyes. This person said there may be some bruising as I’m now taking blood thinners. I wasn’t sure this was true as thought it was more likely her technique, which despite reassuring words felt more

My Thyroid Story Part III
My Thyroid Story Part III Dr UVW, endocrinologist 2013 was probably the worst year of my life – although the jury is still out on that one. It was like my own personal and private 2020. Almost every month, there was a new upsetting event to cope with. In January, I watered my Christmas hyacinth and

My Thyroid Story Part II
Dr OPQ, GP/homeopath So, after lengthy chats with one of my students, who was a great fan of homeopathy, I thought I’d give that a go. Not much choice of doctors where I live, but managed to find one that also did acupuncture, which was a bonus. To his credit, he did say straight up that he didn’t know

Hashimotos thyroid
I know I’ve asked many questions before as this year has felt like hitting a brick wall going from a completely feeling 28 year old female, always on my feet working or getting to go out and be with friends and family to now being in constant pain and barely making it out of bed sometimes overnight.
