Struggling with lower left back and left abdominal pain. Booked a private mri. Drs have just doubled my codeine prescription but I have a toddler and struggle with looking after him on codeine! Makes me hallucinate slightly.
Internal scan showed nothing untoward according to technician. Can mri pick up more issues?

Hi I had right sided pain, also could be all over stomach too at times. Weight loss. Anaemia. Bloated stomach x
Hi. My internal showed one cyst. My mri showed two large cysts, endo, infected left Fallopian tube (I had one with the dye and one without). I found diclofenac worked a treat for the pain when I found codeine wasn’t strong enough. Hope that helps x
Hello, Ok thank you so much for your reply. I just get so worried about what course of action to take! Can't get hold of my actual GP. Technician / scan lady was really rude and abrupt when she did ultra sound and didn't think there was much wrong although she was nicer when I told her my history. She then showed me the cysts on the screen. There must be something going on else I wouldn't be in pain! Such a difficult time for getting to speak to anyone xx
Aww bless you. I completely know where you’re coming from. I had exactly the same issues. Sending you lots of luck!! I wasn’t listened to until I went to a and e. Suddenly my routine ct scan which was clear was suddenly now showing cysts and then did mri. Hope you get somewhere soon xxx
