Stage 4 endo diagnosed with emergency laparoscopy. Zoladex prescribed for 6m with follow up surgery after that. Seeking advice.
Hi everyone! I just stumbled across this website again and thought it may be a good place to seek advice from others who may have gone through similar events. So my story is a bit of an odd one. I’m 29 years old and I had always had heavier periods that were more on the painful side. But I was able

Ive posted in the past regarding my thyroid tests which have been up and down. I'm on 100 levo due to RAI 20yrs ago. I have had severe anxiety due to a gastritis flare up. I've lost 2 stone in 4months and medicated via SSRIs and Diazepam but I'm getting worse by the day. My last thyroid test was

Possible CRPS?
I was diagnosed with Small Bowel Crohn’s Disease in the early 1970’s and had 18” of small intestine removed. I was on steroids for a while, then codeine for diarrhoea. Later diagnosed with Bile Salt Malabsorption. When I was around fifty the joint pain which I’d always suffered from since childhood began

Gabapentin plus Sertraline
I’d be grateful for advice. I have longstanding RLS and currently take codeine 30-60mg with partial effect. I’ve never taken anything else for RLS. A few weeks ago I needed antidepressants and my GP gave me Sertraline, as I had managed several months on this previously, with the RLS remaining tolerable

Feedback on private Blood tests please, before my Endo appt..
I posted earlier this month asking for advice before I see my Endo at the end of November. I've not been feeling too great and my Endo put me on Hrt as my levels were all in range and he thinks my symptoms are perimenopausal rather than thyroid. (graves/Rai Oct 21) I feel it's a mixture of both. Hrt

REPOST: chest heaviness won't leave
Hi, I had a long trip this Feb. After coming back, I had a bit of chest heaviness. It's not left but instead slowly getting worse. I've been calling cardiology, my GP, the BHF nurses, went to A&E and have had very little help. Honestly, right now, I don't care about figuring out what it is, I just

Radioactive iodine alternatives?
I am struggling with letting the Endo perform a
radioactive
iodine
procedure to treat my Graves’ disease. The idea that my thyroid will be destroyed is unsettling. Has anyone had the procedure and has it helped. What is it like to have the procedure?

Spirulina - any advice or experiences?
As you can see from previous posts, I have struggled to bring my iron and b vitamin levels up for a while, despite increasing my intake of both supplements...this has led me to look at spirulina as something that could possibly help, as there are quite a few reviews of this product from people saying

Hello, please could I ask for your advice. I've had Hashimotos around a decade. Recently I cannot seem to get my dose around the sweet spot for TSH of 1. Last blood test it was at 5 on 100 levothyroxine. Just introduced a further 25 three times a week. As a result I am seriously struggling to cope with

Stopping Cerazette
First time poster, but I’ve taken many tips from this board so thank you all in advance. 2 years ago I doubled over in agony, eventually got sent to A&E via my GP with suspected appendicitis. Wasn’t appendicitis, it was a haemorrhaging ovarian cyst. Sent home with painkillers, had a couple of scans and

Pain relief
Has anyone found any pain relief to be effective? I’ve tried so, so many and there’s not much left for me to try. I have a brilliant GP who is always happy to listen so I thought if anyone had found anything effective, then I could always suggest it. Currently prescribed naproxen and diclofenic suppositories
