Morning All, so my GGT level is now up to 136 & my GP has requested a liver scan, I’m still waiting for the appointment. I’ve been virtually teetotal for 5 years, just the occasional drink on special occasions. I do/have taken a lot of paracetamol & codeine due to headaches from a previous brain operation. Of course I’ve googled liver disease to death & now think I’ve not long to live.. ( ridiculous I know) has anyone else experience of high GGT? I am about 14 pounds overweight & my diet has been dreadful, I’m now trying to change this & am exercising more regularly. Look forward to any replies, thank you.. B x

Hi B, did you get your liver scan? How is the diet and exercise going? It can be really tough to change these things. Hope you’re doing ok.
