Thyroid nodules

About 12yrs back after many many hospital visits I was referred for Radio Active Iodine treatment,as I had an Overactive Thyroid , last year I was having problems again so had a Thyroid scan and found I had Nodules on my Thyroid but these have caused no trouble was told that these Nodules were caused by the treatment I had for my Overactive Thyroid and as you probably know there is no medication to take for an overactive Thyroid.

What problems were you getting again and why are they unable to treat the nodules after the treatment?

When they found the nodules, I was having trouble with feeling as if I had a lump in my throat all the time,so I thought it was probably something to do with my thyroid again,so doctor sent me for a Thyroid scan but turned out it was nothing to do with thyroid but they did find the nodules,but these were from scarring from the Radio Active Iodine treatment I had previously had but there was no worry about them at all,and needed no treatment.

Good news it's nothing serious but are you still experiencing the "lump in your throat"? If you are, why can't they fix the scarring?

The lump.in my throat was found to be because I have a Hiatal Hernia and am awaiting treatment for this
