Pain after mastectomy
My right breast cancer surgery..mestactomy was done in Nov 2013. My post surgery half yearly check ups are regularly done. For sometime now , I feel pain, sometime tearing pain on right side of my chest. It's not severe but irritating. Is it normal to have such pain after 4 and half years of surgery?

What now?
I had a radical prostatectomy in August 2017 and my first PSA was 0.08. My recent PSA was 0.22 and I am awaiting a consult with my urologist for further treatment. My Gleason score was 4+5 a 9 and I'm very bummed that I will need more treatment so soon. What happens now? What are my options for treatment

Met with my Radiation Oncologist to discuss treatment plan. He showed me a graph of my Psa numbers since 2011. My primary was running Psa every 4 years because of the family history of prostate cancer. Last one was in 2015. The Psa was 8.2 I was never informed of the results. Only knew about my high

Lymphedemajourney
I’ve just had a flare up of my secondary lymphedema due to
radical
mastectomy
and 14 lymph node removal. It will be 2 years May 16, 2018 since my surgery. I’ve been able to control lymphedema with compression sleeve. But now I’ve had this flare up—swelling, upper arm & elbow redness & hot.

Results Day
Hi all, I’m a little bit terrified right now as today I get my results x I’m 45 years old and had a laporoscopy in March to remove an ovarian cyst and after biopsies I was told on April 17th that I have clear cell carcinoma of the ovary. They said after a CT scan that they think it’s stage 1 possibly

Hello , it affects my neck, shoulder, arm wrist, fingers, on my right side which was already weak due to plexus injury. After reading about botox , I decided against it since it would weaken me even more. My right side is weak and i can barely use it, if and when i do, it triggers and attack and I pay

Mistake in my notes
I now have jsut discovered that in the comments part of my report it says cabg x4 which mean quadrouple bypass this is a complete nonsense unless you can do a quadrouple bypass when inserting a pacemaker in my shoulder. the only other surgery is a gall bladder removal

A message to you all from Peachy6958
I have been asked to post this by Peachy6958 who is struggling to work out how to use this forum - like many of us have at some time or other I suspect! I'm sure the mysteries will be revealed sooner or later! "This is my first post. I felt I had to write as I have actually had a major breakthrough today

Pain is a pain!
My main condition is Adhesive Arachnoiditis. It causes severe intractable, 24/7 pain. Most MD's have never heard of it or are not familiar with it. Some think it is a fallacy, I wish! As many of you know, it has gotten much more difficult to get adequate pain meds since 2016 with the Opioid crisis

I have suffered for ten years. I have had nerve entrapment surgery and tried many blocks, ablasion and PT. I have a medical background and researched CBD for pain. I now make my own suppositories, but you can purchase at a despensary if you have a medical marijuana card. I take a magnesium suppliment

Well, I may not have been the fastest out there this weekend, but I was definitely the brightest! In electric blue and apian inspired shorts, the sun reflected off me dizzying the other runners. So much for running incognito. The recent sunny, warm weather and my new girlish figure (have quit smoking
