I vape and it does improve my lung function. At COPD review without marijuana my lung function is around 40% if I vape I can blow nearly double this

A vaporiser heats plant up to whichever temperature you want without combustion you then inhale the vapour

Whether medical or not it is known positively to give you the munchies. It is one of the reasons it is used for cancer patients

Munchies! I remember them well Schmicter. (There are very few people on here to admit to smoking cannabis, in whatever form, for recreational ends.) Interesting medical use of it.

I have smoked it (a long time ago) but you can get it in oil form, it's really good if you need to gain weight which I had to do 2 years ago....It is beneficial for a lot of cancer patients,it doesn't cure anything but it can make you feel better.....

In UK I don't believe medical cannabis is prescribed for COPD at all, I think currently just terminally ill cancer patients who are in a lot of pain are prescribed it and addicts who are being weened off it.

I can't be sure but I believe medical cannabis in UK is administered by a medical professional in some cases by injection.

Recent media headlines say that the government will review the medicinal use of cannabis which could lead to more prescriptions of drugs made from the plant.

In other countries no doubt the laws will be different.

If the government does legalise it for recreational and medicinal use, I shall be looking out for brownie and biscuit recipe's :D although the side affect of munchies and possible weight gain could be problematic for people with COPD making breathing more difficult.

My friend who had another disease had marijuana gummy bears prescribed....he was to live 6 to 8 weeks....he lived and lived well for 21 years!! And, Willie Nelson the country singer has had emphysema since he was 41... and that was 44 years ago...he's 85 and went from smoking to vaping it....everyday.....and he still performs. I find these amazing and hopeful. It must do so something for some people.

Everyone take care.
