Radical Prostatectomy with Bone Metastases
Hello, gentlemen. Thank you so much for your latest replies to our previous post. My husband is being treated at Johns Hopkins for T4 PC, bone mets, 45 years old. I was wondering, with the latest studies on radical prostatectomy in metastatic patients gaining popularity... has anyone had any experience

Radical prostatectomy in T4 prostate cancer.
New German study below. T4 is cancer that has spread to nearby organs. "To determine the outcomes of complete surgical resection of T4 prostate cancer (PCa) after inductive androgen deprivation treatment (ADT). An inductive ADT and subsequent radical prostatectomy (RP) is not recommended by any guideline

Not much discussion on HU about the endocannabinoid system. If you are interested in medical marijuana for PD. Dr. Sarah King.
Hi Marc, We're jumping off the beaten path in this week's Facebook LIVE broadcast. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box and reach outside your comfort zone for answers, and Monday's interview will be taking a lot of us there. Dr. Michelle Sexton is a naturopathic doctor, professor

Step one: Complete!
We went for our initial Egg Sharing appointment today and it all seemed to go well 😊 My urine sample was fine, the scan showed my ovaries and womb look good so now just got to wait for my AMH levels to come back tomorrow and all being well we will have further blood tests in a couple of weeks and then

Endo and asthma
Has anyone else developed asthma since endo diagnosis? I was diagnosed with endo 2yrs ago now. It was a bit of a 'lucky' diagnosis if I'm honest, I'd been suffering with increased pain in the first couple of days of my period for at least 1.5-2yrs before I went to my GP at the time (I've since moved

Questions for First Visit to Radiation Oncologist
Okay guys, I'm asking for your insights.... I was diagnosed in November 2010 and had a radical prostatectomy in January 2011 (3+4, pT2c N0 M0, negative margins, no extra capsular extension, no seminal vesicle involvement). My post-surgery PSA remained undetectable for 54 months and then came in at 0.05

The problem with active surveillance.
New Swedish study below. [1] Over-detection of PCa has led to overtreatment, & ultimately, to the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommendation against PSA–based screening for prostate cancer. At one point, Dr. Myers suggested "Don't call it (Gleason 3+3) cancer!" That's all very well,
