Hello. Had 2 panic attacks today. Have been on lexapro 15mg now. So I told my dr I want off this med. she’s weaning me down slowly. I’m thinking of using medical marijuana. Any thoughts?

I met with my urologist today. My PSA is undetectable for over a year (following a radical prostatectomy followed by radiation). I’m still having serious incontinence and ED issues. I’m still not sold on another surgery and having something foreign in my body that may need to eventually be replaced

8 day post Circumcision
I am day 8 post circumsicion & vasectomy. General swelling has gone down but I still get a lot of sharp stinging pains from the frenulum area and the stiches there. Sometimes when I pee and that area gets wet it really stings. Is this normal and to be expected? I've followed post OP care as instructed

A quick background review … Started out as 'I can't pee ! - a TOTAL urinary blockage. Dateline March break- 2017. Spent 4 months in and out of emergency wards with out of control UTI's, a catheter for 4 months (which I was taking care of with NO CLUE as to how to manage it) and no urologist or

Omeprazole/Lansoprazole
Hi, can anyone give me some advice please? I had been taking 30mg Lansoprazole since January, but it was causing terrible diarrhoea 3 or 4 times a day. This was automatically prescribed along with Predisolone, although I have absolutely no problems with my stomach or indigestion. I spoke with my GP yesterday

Gall bladder removal
Hello I have an 8mm polyp in my gall bladder as wel as tiny gallstones. My latest ultrasound a few days ago noted that surgery could be an option soon. I have no symptoms but the polyp has to be removed. Has anyone had a laparoscopic surgery of this type and what was your experience?

The efficacy and safety of radical prostatectomy and radiotherapy in high-risk prostate cancer: a systematic review and meta-analysis
For your consideration........recent update...... https://wjso.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12957-020-01824-9 Conclusion here...... RP seems to offer better OS but inferior results for CSS and biochemical recurrence. Brachy boost may perform better in all aspects. I think Tall_Allen has already

Vitamin B12 relationship with PD?
New data from South Korean indicates gastric cancer patients who underwent gastrectomy & received uninterrupted VitB12 supplementation had a decreased incidence of Parkinsons (0.86; 95% CI 0.75–0.98); significance lost after adjusting for smoking & BMI https://www.prd-journal.com/article/S1353-8020

BEST PRESCRIPTION SLEED AID
I stopped taking Diphenhydramine as a sleep aid after reading all the negative effects it has on rls. Wondering what most people have been prescribed by their Doctor for better sleep. I currently take Gabapentin and use medical marijuana but it requires high amount of thc to give me a decent night sleep

Breast pain
I occasionally have breast pain after a double mastectomy, 8 chemo treatments and 30 radiation treatments. I am now on Ibrance and Femara. I also had 16 lymph nodes removed on the side which had the cancer. Is it common to experience breast pain and what causes it? Just had a PET scan with good results

Oh no... Not again.
Hello everyone I read new posts and questions every day and am amazed with the strength and wonderful humour of our club. Thankyou. I was diagnosed stage 4 Primary peritoneal cancer in March... Ascites drained x 2, a bad reaction to Paclitaxol, chemo carried on just with carboplatin, lock down and debulking

Headaches
Hello, this is the first time I've posted though I have followed this site for some time and find it very comforting. I was diagnosed two years ago with secondary breast cancer in the bones 30 years after my initial mastectomy. I am on Ibrance and Letrozole and am currently stable with manageable side

I was diagnosed in June 2019 with PMR after an unexpected attack out of the blue , when I was in so much pain I couldn't move and began shaking and with my teeth chattering. An excellent GP pulled out all the stops, arranged immediate blood tests and other examinations and very soon prescribed prednisolone

Vasectomy complications with AMN?
Hello all, My wife and I just had our second child a month ago. We both agree we only want two children, so I have been planning to get a vasectomy to avoid future pregnancies. Today I met with a vasectomy specialist, and during our consultation, we had a long conversation about concerns with AMN. Because
