Well...my last scan Jan 25 showed my lungs and all organs clear. Woo hoo!! However, I have 2 lymph nodes on the same side as my mastectomy that are around 1 cm each. I’m having surgery in the morning to remove those. Once they are out I won’t have any tumors!!! It’s been 2 years and 4 months since my de novo MBC diagnosis. I’m almost afraid to be happy. I might jinx it. I know it’s floating around inside but it’s really a good feeling for the moment.
Hope my surgery goes well tomorrow. Prayers appreciated. I’ll let y’all know how I’m doing soon.
Much love to you all,
Stacy

How amazing 2 years and 4 months on.... I shall send prayers your way for sure x I get what you say about ‘jinx’ a silly childhood game but that word has a whole new meaning to me now, and I’m grateful to you for sharing this positive news.
Enjoy the good feeling - for the moment and for as long as possible staysha.
Hope all went well, Staysha! God bless you!!💗💗🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi Stacy ,According to the date of your post your surgery should be over . I hope it was very successful and Mimi all discomfort . Take time to heal and feel better .
I’m currently on herceptin and perjeta. The lymph nodes are probably her2- which isn’t treated with that combo. I’ll find out Wednesday exactly what the pathology is on them. My Mets to my lungs are her2+. Yep. I have 2 kinds.
