Update on my last post
Hey So I posted on here 3 months ago to say that my pains had returned AGAIN even after a full hysterectomy last year 😔. Thanks to my consultant's secretary I managed to get another MRI done and last week had the results. My sigmoid colon is attached to my vaginal vault. I've got an appt at the hospital

Has anyone used Low dose Natroxen (LDN) post hystorectomy
Hi warriors, A friend of mine is an advocate for LDN and keeps going on about how much it will help me. I am obviously reluctant as I have tried hundreds of different things over my 30 years with endo and nothing has helped me. I am on alot of meds and I am just reluctant to come off all the drugs to

What to do
So I eventually got my 3 month review (had my lap on 1st July) by phone. It was a grand total of 5 mins where I was told that I could either stay on the mini pill or I could have a hysterectomy it all depends on what I wanted my quality of life to be like. He didn't want an answer there and then but

Adenomyosis NI
Stage 4 IDE/RVE, multiple laps, now feeling a different kind of pain for past 2 years and believe it is likely to be adenomyosis based on symptoms. Is there anyone with adeno who has found a consultant in Northern Ireland (NI) who knows about adenomyosis? Or even what tests I could be asking for? General

TSH did not pull up on 25mg levo? Blood results
Hi All In August 2021 I was put on a "trial" of Levothyroxine by my GP after me having quite the battle to get prescribed. Over 4 yes post hysterectomy I'd went out of range and barely back in range if at all, several times. On the results that follow my TSH doesn't seem to have raised on 25mg levo

Medical Cannabis
Does Indica Med-weed make my anxiety worse? They say its a prescription. I just want to know, before I have a panic attack. My therapist has told me that it could make my paranoid or worsen my anxiety. She said that even though it's medical weed it could be still like the cannabis drug dealers sell

Another Laparoscopy? Help!
Hey so some of you may know me and my story. For those that don't here's a summary; I'm 37, I've been diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2017 through my diagnostic lap, the specialist performed an excision around my bladder and uterus (stage 4). In 2018 I had a planned further excision of endo from my bowel

Hello ladies, I am using a pessary. I am not sure it is right. Came home from doctor with 2 sizes. I have read many medical reports on Google. And still don't know what I am doing. It's been a few weeks. I have severe transvaginal mesh complications and have had a complete hysterectomy. My issue is

No information about Hysterectomy
I’m due to have a hysterectomy but have not had any information or discussion how this surgery is to take place or what to expect or how to prepare and how to aid recovery. Is this normal? I have conducted my own research and watched all possible procedures so I am fully aware about the different procedures

Living with Endo.
I was in extreme pain every month crippled on the floor, unable to move. My condition was missed for years by the doctors who refused to believe there was anything wrong with me, in extreme pain for three weeks out of four I eventually got an ultrasound scan which picked up a large mass. I saw a gynaecologist

Amlodipine Besylate 5mg. for BP
I did 6 rounds of chemo, & had Hysterectomy for clear cell ovarian cancer. Now I'm ongoing treatment with Avastin. As you know Avastin has one side effect that is high blood pressure, which I am experiencing. I have never had high blood pressure in my entire life, but now must go on Amlodipine Besylate

Follow-up post lap appointment
So basically my consultant has told me not only did he remove a large amount of endometriosis and then showed me the pictures of it all, he also found while in there that I have Adenomyosis - I have never heard of this before today! Feeling very upset and confused as he told me it can reduce fertility
